I am not convinced that a spring that is w'ed or flat is in good shape. Seems to me that a spring that is already flat and you start to bounce it has only one place to go when all that weight comes back down and it isn't up! I still think I will be asking someone that knows these things.
Rmcgrath53, when you click reply to thread thr quick reply window opens, above where you type your reply there are icons 7th one over from the left w/pic frame around it click on it. It will open up a window, click on select files and find your pic in your files. good luck
Fuel cap. is 55 gal. I would say 9-10 mpg to play it safe depending on terrain. How are the stations for maneuverability? I searched for truck stops on truck miles and there are very few and very far in between. Thanks
After looking at those pics I know I have spring issues. Mine look just like the 2nd pic. janitor1, how long did it take to resolve this spring issue...
The black water tank is right below the toilet and if your elec. panel is at the bottom of stairs thats where the line hooks into the tank within a few feet.
suejean, on our 3670RL the black water flush connects to the tank on the door side of the coach. It sounds to me like the high water pressure blew that connection. If you open up your access panel in the basement you should be able to follow the line from the connection over to the tank and see...
We are getting ready to head to Alaska in May and thanks to the posts on the u-bolts and springs I am inspecting my bolts and springs. I have noticed that mine have that w look on our '09 3670. This gives me alot of concern since the roads in Canada and Alaska can be pretty rough. Since I know...
How much shorter is the cassiar hwy? Was told it will save you a days travelin. I am heading to Valdez for work so wont get to much time site seeing. Thanks
elevatorman, Thanks for the info. I took the trim off and opened that area up to let it dry out. There was only water on one side, think it got wet when I had BH washed with pressure washer. Will put it back together this weekend and check an re-caulk the front cap.
I have a 2009 3670 noticed the sagging under the overhang was gettig a little worse, I pushed on it and water came out from the front storage compartment. rasied the front end up to get as much water out as possible. Elevatorman how long did it take to replace the overhang? Thanks Tankie
Had problems with kitchen water lines freezing last winter. Lines were against frame so I moved them, put a thermometer under the sink into the underbelly, the temps were in the teens. To fix the problem I tapped into the back heater duct, put a tee in and ran a line over under the sink. Taped...
The disc brake system this place sells is made by kodiak, they are all elec. no hyd. the cost w/ install is around 3k rough est. has anyone heard of kodiak brand?
I talked to a dealer in TN about having disc brakes installed, and their opinion was parts and service will be hard to find. Has anyone had an issue w/this or is he blowing smoke? Thanks
Has anyone replaced the apollo half-time oven? Our 2nd one caught our popcorn popper on fire and broke the glass tray . We want to get a new model that is just microwave. Thanks
ralphpam, can you get any pics on the installation? I would like to compare them with my installation since I had a new fridge put in. I will check that center panel to see if we are having same issue. Thank you
Finally got tech out to check out fridge, can't find anything glaring wrong with it no yellow stuff leaking or blown fuses. He did talk to dometic and they informed him the fridge was not vented properly. Found a site http://www.rvmobile.com has some good info on fridges. According to their info...
Here we go again, fridge is heating up and freezer works. We have defrosted freezer every couple days . 1st time it worked got cold again now it stays in the 50's during day and if we are lucky the mid 45-49 at nite. Have the setting on 5 and checked for error codes but none. Fans are not...
ours are not working as well, I put a 7 in. fan in the back of fridge and run it 24/7. But it still heats up, have read in another post about high humidity causes freezer to frost up. I have noticed that it does and have defrosted it a couple times. It seems to help fridge is now at 44 degrees...
Drew, is your fridge a RM1350? We are on our 2nd one in less than a year. Had the 1st replaced in Oct. 08 (leaking cooling unit) now this one is having cooling issues. I am getting real tired of this fridge that we paid so much extra to have.
Big Al, check out Cherryhillpark.com it is close to D.C. I have never stayed there because it has a 14 day max stay, it also has a tour that picks up in park. Hope this helps and have fun.
We have been fulltiming in our 3670RL since we got in 7/08 and it works great plenty of room. We do have dual pane windows, I wanted them for the noise factor as well as temp.control. I am still working and travel from job to job and don't always get to go where its warm for the winter. Spent...
We picked up our 3670RL on 7/11/08 and have had no problems w/upholstery. Our pillows and bed spread lasted about 3 mo. just replaced them. Is it just the 3670 that is have upholstery problems? It kind of sounds like the furniture man. had a bad run. We love our BH very comfy to live in, we have...
aatauses, the 6.7 Dodge has an exhaust brake, a big plus on down grades. I also tow a 3670, I hardly use my brakes. Just put trany in tow/haul and hit the exhaust brake it controls my speed very well. I for one will never do without one again. Hope this helps good luck!
Thanks all for your input on your mail service its nice to have a place to ask others their options and experiences. I will be checking each one out to see which one fits best. Tankie
rmelder,
I have one of those 100# tanks works great, but they weigh about 160 lbs. when full. Very heavy if only one doing the lifting. I had it filled at a major propane dealer and was told I could haul it on its side. I do not travel with it full only from being filled back to 5th wheel...
alaska dodge, no I did not, the water lines and heater duct are just inside the frame, you can reach them both fairly easy. I also put R-21 insulation in the underbelly, the astro foil is good for mid 20's but we were in low teens for highs. Even after I moved water lines it still froze hot...
Bill, in our 3670 the kitchen lines split off from the washer and dryer and run down the frame to the kitchen (bad place for water lines steel gets real cold). I tried to wrap them but there is no room between the frame so I pulled them out and re-routed them. I also spliced into the heater duct...
