Re: Broken leaf spring on Cyclone... need some advice
My warranty was up and the did send out new springs as a good will gesture. I would send them the pics they do respond quickly.
Do you know the weight of your unit loaded? Lippert said I overlaoded mine, I will be weighing when I leave for...
If thats true then people that owen a house should get a break on their tags!
Enough is enough when I don't have the money for something and can't afford the payments if I borrow it then I do without! This insane Gov. (at all levels) needs to do same thing! Now we are going to borrow 7billion...
What are you plugging them with? I think Lowes or Home Depot carry fittings for the pex line. I used them to reroute some water lines, they just compressed on no banding. I just can't remember what they are called. A RV place would have them as well.
I paid $36.75 in WA. It used to be based on value but we had to slap them back and voted in a flat rate.:D
But this is what we get when we want big brother to take care of everything for us and u know that they know best .
My shocks and the lower mounts are bent as well. They sure are helping alot at bending stuff. I am hoping the CP system will help out the springs a little, also will see if they can fix those useless shocks.:D
We have the same 09 BH 3670RL, we went through 2 half-time ovens and then switched to their microwave. It did not last either, so we switched too a dometic micro wave. The only problem is the face plate doe not work. We bought the face plate with the dometic, but had to re-work the opening...
So how do you know when to change the spring? Do you wait for it to break?
I am sorry but that does not give me any comfort. If that is the case with the spring being mounted on top of the axles, then they have a design flaw and need to fix it. Springs should not be breaking in with less than...
just had the Titan installed in my Dodge 2500, gave me 55gal. Up from 35. Going on first long trip 1st half of May so will see how far I can travel between fuel stops.
I have a 09 3670 RL w/7k axles and they are flat thank God for this forum I found them. Lippert said I overloaded them (to be fair they did send out new springs I just have to pay labor) I will be getting it weighed. When I purchased it and transfered all my things from old coach it weighed...
Jimofhudsonville, Yes I owen the same BH (purchased in Jul 08) I have 10,000 Miles on it. Did your warranty cover it? I had a tech talk to Lippert and the claim they are not having problems with their 7000# springs. They claim I overloaded them. But it sounds to me that that is not true, so I...
How long is your warranty?
Did you have 7k axles? They told my tech that they do not have a problem w/their 7k axles and springs.
How many people are having problems w/7k springs?
I had tech contact Lippert about my 7k springs being flat. They replied that they where out of warranty (only 1 yr on chassis and axles). They claim that they where overloaded, but have sent new springs as a act of good faith but I will have to pay to have them installed. Now I see why you need...
I hear that you have to have the wheels aligned with the Mor-Ryde IS. If so how often?
Hendersons lineup is in Grants pass, OR. They install both set-ups as well as the 5th airbourne and the trailair pin boxes. Which is right on my path north. I have requested a quote for both set ups. We do...
Thank you for the info.
Unless a job comes up near Elkhart its not much of an option for me. But I will be contacting Henderson thanks again for everyones help. There is so much good info and help on this site.
westxsrt10, no I never have considered that option cause time is an issue working 50-60 wk and have to be in Alaska 1st part of May. Tech says at least the springs need to be replaced before I can move safely again.
I have a request for a qoute and shop info on west coast from Mor-Ryde. Will...
I have a tech working with Lippert on my spring issue now. I know I do not want the same springs I have now, they only lasted about 10,000 miles. If I go with the 4k spring the ride will be even more bone jarring than it already is, which is why I am interested in getting the CP.
Thanks for all your input. I have found a dealer/installer for the center point system in CA, waiting on price and shipping time frame. Sounds to me like you have to go to IN to have the Mor-RYDE IS installed, which is not an option. I also need new springs so I'll see where that leads. Thanks...
Larry,
Very good eye! When I was under there I seen that but didn't think twice about it. I think the safe and smart thing to do is go to spring shop. Thanks Lonnie
