Whoa - NJ tolls going up 50% January 1st

If you don't have to get there in a hurry, getting off the highway is more fuel efficient. Travelling a US highway at 50 mph we get our best gas mileage. Not to mention the scenery.....did I mention that I'm retired. Ted

    Cabinet above Bedroom Sink

When mounting things to the wall of your RVs, what length and size screw do you use? Also, do you use anchors for the screws? If so what type? I need to mount a towel rack but I don't want to puncture the sidewall of the trailer. Ted

We travel to Texas via I 81 from SE MA and in January there is usually snow in MD / VA but we have stayed at Candyland CG in Winchester, VA the first night. It's cold but you plug in and the heat works well. We go out to eat then head to Cleveland, TN the next night. Often we de-winterize...

What needs to be done when temperatures hit freezing

Remember to keep a vent or window open a little so that there is a way for water vapor to escape. Too much water vapor will condense all over.

    Winterized the Prowler today

Having winterized our trailer many times, sometimes twice a year, I must say that the engineers at Hearthland have figured things out. This was the easiest time. The hot water by-pass and the pump hose extension makes a simple task. We'll put it storage until January, then we'll head south...

In side the cabinet door over the sink of our new Prowler is a list of phone numbers to call if you have a problem. My hope is that these numbers will give the proper authorization for repairs. My dealer told me to call them and they would find a place to get the work done. This is our third...

    Fresh Water Tank Cleaning

    Impressed by New Prowler

From our first trip in our new Prowler, I can say that it exceeded our expectations. It was easy to tow and not too bad on fuel. The living space was comfortable and everything worked well so far. The hot water by-pass and pump extension makes it easy to winterize. All and all a good product.
