We have camped north of LA at Valencia Trailer Park. Check out the link. Very nice place, easy to get to LA and points north as well.

Heading south we stop in Cleveland TN. We have camped at the KOA in mid January while our trailer was winterized. We used their shower room. We have also stayed at theDouglas Inn in Cleveland, TN. They are next to a Craker Barrel and there is room for a truck and trailer.

If you don't have to get there in a hurry, getting off the highway is more fuel efficient. Travelling a US highway at 50 mph we get our best gas mileage. Not to mention the scenery.....did I mention that I'm retired. Ted

Having trouble with Southco Keyless Entry I must say that Heartland got the part to my dealer to replace thebroken key pad on my Prowler. So far so good.Ted

Sorry to say that the trailer is in storage for this month. I'll pick it up in January and post a picture at that time.

My new Southco Keyless pad is entirely different from the original keyless pad. It works well. I'm uncertain of the make of the original keyless pad. Ted

I've complained about poor service so I like to share my good experiences, too. I work in a bike shop where customer service is the first order of business. It is very important to repeat business. Ted

What manufacturers key pad did they install? I just got my Prowler back from the dealer with a new / different keypad. I got the paper work with mine to change the code. I'm betting that the manufacturer's web site would have some info. Ted

When mounting things to the wall of your RVs, what length and size screw do you use? Also, do you use anchors for the screws? If so what type? I need to mount a towel rack but I don't want to puncture the sidewall of the trailer. Ted

In the winter we travel with them up to allow in light (heat) and in the summer we travel with them down to keep out light (heat). Ted

My 2011 has a flip over leg for support. We haven't used it but we did set it up and it looks ok. Ted

Remember to keep a vent or window open a little so that there is a way for water vapor to escape. Too much water vapor will condense all over.

Having winterized our trailer many times, sometimes twice a year, I must say that the engineers at Hearthland have figured things out. This was the easiest time. The hot water by-pass and the pump hose extension makes a simple task. We'll put it storage until January, then we'll head south...

The H2 O2 sound like it would taste a whole lot better. How much do you use and do you have any idea how effective it is in a water system? H2 O2 goes off fast as it encounters things to oxidize. I like the idea.

My sofa is not attached to the coach. I have yet to use it so I don't know if it will tip when used but I will check into this.

From our first trip in our new Prowler, I can say that it exceeded our expectations. It was easy to tow and not too bad on fuel. The living space was comfortable and everything worked well so far. The hot water by-pass and pump extension makes it easy to winterize. All and all a good product.
