    What hitch should I buy?

Jim, Did you have that back and forth motion before you switched to the mor-ryde pin box? How does it manage to reduce the forward and backward chucking? Does it use air suspension?

    What hitch should I buy?

Delaine, I also have the B & W companion hitch. The only problem I am having is a lot of forward and backward movement which makes the ride a little uncomfortable especially on cement roadways with expansion cracks. Is there anything you know of that can make my ride a little smoother by...

    Plumbing nightmare

We bought our 3670RL 2 years ago. We were invited by the dealer to live in our camper before we signed or payed for anything. We lived in our camper for 2 or 3 days in the parking lot of the dealer putting together a list of problems we noticed. The dealer had an electric and water hookup in...

Les, Where is the 50 amp circuit breaker? Is it the 1 " rocker switch right next to the hydraulic motor? I have a 1" square switch on the hydraulic motor mount that has a rocker switch on it. It has about 6 or 8 wires leading to it. Is this the 50 amp circuit breaker? Thanks, Sid

    slideouts

Bob, Thank you for the information on the circuit breaker upgrade. Just curious. My dealer suggested I should have my thermal switch replaced. It doesn't sound like it's the same upgrade you have brought to my attention. Do you have any feelings as to which is the right way to go? Or are...

    Potential new owner 3670

Dodge 3500 DRW Our dodge 3500 pulls our 3670RL very well. I added the Superchip software and keep it in towing mode. I also added the Pacbrake exhaust brake which I also strongly recommend. Maybe it's just psychological, but I feel the dual rear wheels give me added stability. We are very...

    Carrying additional fresh water

additional water Thankyou SmokeyBare, Your making a lot of sense. A collapseable bladder can be folded up when not being used and two small bladders are easier to handle than one big drum.

    Carrying additional fresh water

additional water Thanks Jim, From what we have seen, potable water is available most of the time but ferrying back and forth is necessary. We look forward to hearing how other Heartland owners have added water drums or bladders to their truck.

    Carrying additional fresh water

We want to do some beach camping next year which will require bringing additional fresh water. What is the best way to carry an additional 90 gallons of water? I have seen some tow vehicles with a large blue water drum and water pump assembly. Anyone have any web sites to go to? Where in the bed...

New Tires for My Tow Vehicle

I currently have General AmerTrac 235/80/R17 LT tires on my TV. My tire dealer suggests flipping over to Goodyear Wrangler SRA 245/75/17 LT tires. Should I stay with General or make the change? What do you think?

    It's Here! It's Lovely! It's....Broken!

mistakes I opened our kitchen slide once and almost pulled one of the kitchen cabinet doors off it's hinge. Each time I open or close the slides I especially make sure the recliners aren't sticking out too far so they don't catch the slides. Welcome to the club. Every time something goes...

Satellite Connections in a Big Horn 3055RL

Satellite hookup I have a short jumper that connects the two satellite connectors in the docking station. The reason being, the kingdome cable goes to one connector in the docking station, and the jumper allows the signal to go to the living area tv. Hope this might help.

    B&W Hitch

We have been using the B&W hitch for close to a year without any problems. The company has been very nice and responsive. We have experienced chucking on occasion when on concrete roadways with expansion joints but from what I read on the forum this is quite common no matter what hitch you...

2nd A/C I agree with everyone else. If you can afford the extra dollars it's better to have it just in case you need it. We have not had to use both a/c units at the same time very much but I'm glad we have it to cool things down when we first turn them on. Also I find the bedroom a/c a...

We like to use our camper in the winter. We are very happy with the dual pane windows. We can't imagine how cold and drafty it would be withput them given the amount of windows we have. We have not experienced a big condensation problem. We like to run a vaporizer to keep the air moist and...

    Dodge Ram 3500 Short Bed

Dodge Ram 3500 Flash, As you can see by our signature we own a Dodge 3500. I recommend the long bed for tracking and the dually for stability. Not that you couldn't get away with a short bed single rear wheel. They would probably work just fine.
