    Oakmont by Heartland?

Take her up on it while you have the approval! It looked like a nice unit. If I didn't need to sleep 6 while hosting 6 Fur-Kids I'd be looking at those.

    Cargo Door Supports

So I just called heartland customer service and asked for parts. I described the magnetic latches and they were able to look up the part number. The nice lady on the phone mentioned they were 7 lb magnets. Anyhow a set of them (two sets needed per door) was about 8 bucks and some change. HOC...

Flex Fuel (E85) . . . anyone got the scoop on it!

Re: FlexFuel (E85) . . . anyone got the scoop on it! So I don't have personal experience but I too have a vehicle that will run off of E85. When I researched it, while it is cheaper you will get much less gas mileage so you'll end up needing to fill more frequently. Also given the less...

Elkridge 37 Ultimate - Interior - Added removable shelf to support media devices

Hello everyone! This is my first "mod" post mainly because I haven't done a bunch of mods yet to my unit (even though I've had it for 2 years). I've spent most of the time/effort/budget on having it upgraded by factory\Lippert\Dealer. Anyhow the 37 Ultimate has an entertainment center that is...

JT's Strong Arm installed on Gateway 3650

I've been curious about the JT strong arms vrs something like steadyfast. I have a 6 point auto leveling system and I've heard that there are some requirements to "load" the JT strong arms so that they provide the correct support.

    Trailer . . . What trailer?

Re: Goodbye, old friend . . . Did you get one of those Anderson quick adjustable hitches? If you did then simply adjust it prior to backing in your driveway (won't hurt the unit to be nose high for those short period of time). I have to do a very similar thing but with my 5ver. Takes a...

NO HOT WATER!!! Need some help.

Yes the bypass valves and everything else will be behind your UDC wall. Here is a picture of a 38RSRT I took during a factory tour. Notice the 3 valve positions. The middle one is open, the other two are shut (which is bypassing the water heater).

Welcome to Washington's newest Chapter Members

Thanks for the warm welcome. We've been lurking for quite sometime. I think I joined the forums in 2012. We've posted quite a bit but finally decided to join HOC after a wonderful customer service experience with Heartland. We are checking out the next WA/OR rally. If they will have our...

Any reviews new Flex Air pin box?

Hello Bighorn5ver, I do not believe an air ride pin box will solve that chucking problem directly. The Mor/Ryde pin box is specifically designed to address this particular issue. Lippert's new Flex Air pin box combines both the front/back addressed by things like the Mor/Ryde and the roto...

Any reviews new Flex Air pin box?

I tried to purchase one directly from Lippert last week and they are not selling them yet (even to Heartland). So I'd say it's a safe bet they are not available yet.

Pre-Purchase 5th Airborne pin box question

I don't have air bags in my truck, but I just picked up a Trailair pin box then hauled it 2200 miles. I can say that it made A WORLD of difference compared to my last 2000 mile trip with the same unit. I was skeptical at first as well, but after driving with it I don't think I'll be purchasing...

Looking for advice/assistance on misc issues after a long trip in a 2013 37 ultimate

To close out this thread in case it get's searched up. My 2012 37 Ultimate was supposed to be built with a 12" frame behind the axles. It was built with a 10" frame behind the axles which left it underspec'd for the weight of the two rear slides. Lippert added an additional 2" steel square...

I agree. When I got on site it was clear the driver hit something and that it wasn't a semi at all (a semi would have ripped the back off had it hit where the damage is). Anyway I can report back that G114's are amazing! Have them installed and put my first 2200 miles on them on the return...

Thoughts on Anderson Ultimate 5th wheel connection for gooseneck hitches

Well. The results are in. I just pulled 2200 miles with the Anderson hitch and a Trailair TriGlide and I couldn't be happier (The B&W companion was brought along for the ride just in case)! The ride was dream and I can make extremely sharp turns if needed in my 2013 Chevy without side wall...

Elkridge factory tour - sharing with the community

I recently took a trip to Elkhart, IN to pick up my repaired 2012 37 Ultimate. While I was there I was able to go on a factory tour of the Elkridge line and wanted to share that experience with folks who may not be able to make it to Elkhart. I'm going to apologize as I've not figured out how...

Feedback on the 38 RSRT rear step placement

Hello Elkridge factory folks, I just got done with a factory tour today and wanted to report on a potential issue that I saw with the placement of the rear steps on the 38 RSRT models. I've attached a picture which shows that the lowest point on the back of the unit is the small rear step...

Is Heartland Moving Away From Towmax??

No clue to be honest. I know that the tires are aligned when they leave. The tour guide mentioned that loading of the trailer could cause the need for different alignment. I don't have any answers, just reporting what I got off the factory floor tour back to this thread. I can say that the...

    Oakmont by Heartland?

Just got done with a factory tour. It is a new line Heartland is releasing. Our tour guide mentioned it's supposed to take the place of the Sundance ( edit: I must have remembered incorrectly as it is now confirmed to replace the Silverado ). The ones that I saw had 4/6 point leveling systems...

Is Heartland Moving Away From Towmax??

I just came from an Elkridge factory tour and the TowMax tires were on every unit. When asked the sales guy seemed to want to blame poor axel alignment as the cause of the tire failures which is why they are placing the correct track system on the units now. Can't say I was happy seeing so...

My experience with heartland customer service

No heartland suggested the unit be returned to Elkhart again to be repaired. I told them to hold it there and I will come pick it up as I will care about my unit unlike the cheapest transport company. So I am now in Minnesota. Only 639 more miles to go.

In North Dakota on my way to Elkhart IN

Going to pick up my trailer. If you see a grey 2013 Chevy Dually with a couple 5th wheel hitches in the back wave! Should be in IN around 6:00am on the 27th. Gonna pick up my repaired 37 Ultimate.

    Blowmax owners group

I guess I get an honorary membership to the blowmax club. My trailer was shipped back to heartland for repairs, had a blow out on the way there, it was shipped back and on the way the other tire blew (so that's 2 blowmax down). Oh and my trailer was hit by a semi during return delivery...

low flow when dumping 2015 Cyclone 3100

I have had similar issues with black and grey tanks. They just don't appear to dump as fast as I would expect them too. I am guessing I'll need to inspect/replace the valves and/or the cables (which have always been extremely hard to pull)

We will get ourselves registered once I call the campground and confirm that they are ok with 6 ppl and 6 dogs in one campsite :). That's mostly what ends up being an issue. If they are ok with that then we should have no problems!

HELP, I've damaged our new Elkridge!!!

My 37 Ultimate has done this and it's a result of the bathroom door catching the inside lip of the slide. The inside won't show much when this happens but the bottom outside skirt will have a dent. The slide brace will also be bent a bit. Nothing major if you caught it soon enough. It sucks...

Thoughts on Anderson Ultimate 5th wheel connection for gooseneck hitches

So love this forum and posting for feedback. I currently have a B&W gooseneck hitch with B&W 5th wheel companion setup which I love! Sadly my driveway is a bit complex to back into and I'm constantly hitting the maximum on the B&W 5th wheel companion for side to side (visible denting). It's...
