Also another thing you might check before buying this addon is most of the deals require you to return to dealer each year for inspection at a cost of $100--150 for just inspection. And then they find you need to have recaulking which is extra also. Jim M

Hi GL15Brewer. Usually that switch is for the 120V heating element of the electric water heater. If it has been turned on and no water in water heater it probably has ruined the heating element. Your unit would still work on propane, but not electric only. Jim M

I don't know about this unit, but on some of the older units you turned the control for front to rear speakers to get the sound on the outside speakers. Jim M

If it is the water heater switch for electric heating,,, do not turn it on until you make sure the heater is full of water. It only takes a minute to burn the element out. Jim M
