    2013 Cyclone 3110 20 month review

Hello Bill, same sentiments here with my 2014 3110 that I have had for 14 months. I only have had minor warranty issues which were corrected promptly by the dealer. I share the same concern with you about the tires. I had a flat when I was bringing the 3110 home from talking delivery. The...

2015- Cyclone 4200 Options Changed and Deleted !!!

If it was not built in accordance with what you ordered, refuse to take delivery. I am sure that will get their attention. It would not be inappropriate to refuse delivery if you are not satisfied with their product as it was represented to you at the time you made your order.

    Can-Am RT in the 4200?

I have a golf cart I load in and out of my garage. The right front and rear tires passed over the hatch door. The hatch door and door frame will flex under that weight. The frame is mounted to the floor with short wood screws. After two camping trips all the screws were pulling out. I had...

    New Cyclone Owner

This is what I had in my truck when I went to pick up our 3110 last August: heavy duty tire pressure gauge (0-120 psi) 1/2" drive torque wrench (0-150 ft-lb) 1/2" black socket set with a 10" extension heavy-duty 3-ton floor jack and a piece of 1/2 inch plywood to fit jack set of tools in a...

    4200 report

I have a 2010 F250 Super Duty Lariat. I am confident that it can easily tow a 4200....but I won't. I trust the vehicle manufacturers are proposing accurate towing capacities for their products after conducting extensive testing. As truck owners, we have the responsibility to adhere to those...

Another Newbie Question on the 4200 - Queen Bunks in Back...

The only ladder that comes with the rv is the one to the loft. I keep it in the basement. I use my loft for storage of light bulky items and use the step stool to access them. I also store the step stool in the loft.

Recommended tow vehicle for a new Cyclone 3110

I just measured.... it is 4 inches between tires. ST235 80 R16. As to your second question, my tow vehicle is a 2010 F250 2WD Lariat 6.4L 6-1/2 foot box SRW Firestone air bags. It pulls the rv with no problems. Fully loaded the hitch did not squat the truck before the airbags were installed...

Recommended tow vehicle for a new Cyclone 3110

I have a 2014 Cyclone 3110, purchased August 1, 2013. Been pulling it with a 2010 F250 Lariat, 6.4L, 4X2, SRW. It pulls the rv loaded with water and a golf cart in the garage with no problems. I added Firestone air bags to maintain a level truck and to control the bouncing on rough roads...

    LED lights in awnings

We were out camping this weekend. I checked my led light strips on the two awnings on my 2014 3110. Each led light strip had 2 individual led lights burned out in different locations. 4 dead leds in less than a year. I will be calling the dealer tomorrow.

12 Foot garage not 12'! Polaris RZR XP 4 1000 will not fit!

I know that Ford has the towing capacity rating for SRW F250/350 set at 15,900#. The truck can easily tow and stop an 18,000# fifth wheel RV. However, the weights and measure police in some states might not allow it if you are caught exceeding rated towing capacity. I see a lot of guys here in...

Any 4200 owners out there yet?

The loft was about 50% larger than the loft in my 3110. The 4200 loft has an L-shape loft. My loft is roughly the width of a twin mattress but much longer (the loft's length is the inside width of the rv). I sure liked the full bath in the 12' garage. The side patio was still in the stowed...

    Electric beds in garage

They did not show me anything about the beds in the PDI. I figured it out when one of the pins kept falling out when traveling. I have found that when the top bed is pinned, you want that bed to rest directly on those pins. To do this you have to lower the lower bunk about 1/4" for the pins...

    Electric beds in garage

There are four straight pins (similar to the ones outside on the ladder to the roof) that hold the top bunk near the ceiling and allow only the lower bunk to come down. These holes are in the four tracks near the top for these pins to pass though. Keep a close inspection of the four tracks...

Mattress failure in 6 days, Lippert giving back $ 200. Can you buy a Mattress for $200 ???

Getting back to the original topic of this thread, I got my 3110 last summer and during the PDI I sat on the queen bed. In an instant I knew that the mattress was not going to be comfortable. To make matters worse, the table tops were strapped down under the mattress, YUK! I moved the table...

Cyclone 4200 - thoughts on rear patio

Re: Cyclone 4200 orders The patio is perfect for when you do have a steep drop off over looking a great view. However, you have to remember to unload your "toys" on level ground to avoid over-compressing the hinge springs. I have used my patio many times. It has been an enjoyable option for...

Cyclone 4200 - thoughts on rear patio

Re: Cyclone 4200 orders We do not set up the benches in the garage so there is never an issue getting to the patio. The benches are nice to have on a rainy day if the patio is not used but the bench (bunk) has a queen mattress on it all the time for the couple that camps with us so we don't...

Happy Jack Bed Mounting Screws Stripping.

It seems that stripped screws are a problem with Heartland assemblers. Newbie help

Weight limit on the patio: The garage has a 2500 lbs limit so the ramp in the inclined position will handle 2500 lbs moving in or out of the garage. The two steel cables will probably hold more than the ramp itself could ever hold in a horizontal position. I have had 4 adults sitting on my...

First Weekend Camping Trip This Year

I would be interested in joining a Louisiana chapter if one was to form. There are a lot of Heartland RVs in the south Louisiana. I am semi-retired so the wife and I are committed to camping a 4 day weekend once a month. Give me the name of the Toledo Bend campground you go to.

First Weekend Camping Trip This Year

The wife loves Cajun Palms so we go there once a month. We used to go to KOA in Scott, La with our previous TT but the trees have low branches and campsites are tight. My F250 is SRW so I haven't planned long hauls until I get an F350 DRW. When we went home Sunday I was fighting stiff...

I prepped the rv last week for a 4 day weekend trip to Cajun Palms RV Park, Henderson, Louisiana on I-10, exit 115. It was a great weekend for eating, camping and relaxing. On the menu: shrimp creole, chicken and sausage gumbo, boudin, cracklins, po'boys, and on Saturday a crawfish boil for...

    New 4100 Problems

I concur with OSCAR. I always run the stove to purge air out the propane system. You should also do this before starting the fridge on gas. If not, the fridge will go to "fault" until you do a purge. Running the stove is the best and safest way to prep your propane system for ALL your...

3110 does not fit in my garage, factory measurements are useless.

Hmmm! Sorry for your dilemma. I too have a 2014 Cyclone 3110. It has been parked out in the yard this winter while I have been forming up a concrete foundation to erect an RV cover. The cover will be 50'x24' and will not have doors. I decided to add 10' so that the nose of the RV will be...

    Cyclone 3110

BK, When I took delivery of the 3110, my 2010 F250 had no problems towing it home 70 miles. It did not feel overloaded. It did not squat the rear springs. The garage was empty and the fresh tank was 3/4 full thus making the fifth wheel hitch heavy. The air bags were later added to eliminate...

    Cyclone 3110

I have a 3110 I purchased last summer. I am using a 2010 F250 Super Duty Lariat SRW 2WD. The towing capacity for the truck is 16,000#. The RV has a gross weight rating of 16,000#. I have not weighed the rig loaded but I do not believe it is any where near full load weight. The truck pulls...

New member with 2014 4100 King question - Garage Heat?

I have a 3110 with 2 ACs and a 10' garage. I use a blower fan on the kitchen floor to push cool air into the garage. It does a good job and the couple that camps with us stays in the garage on the lower queen bunk and claim that they are comfortable. In the winter enough warm air drifts into...
