    Landmark Interior General Feedback Requested

Tom. On the non crank up antennas you adjust strength b rotating them. Mt previous coach, a 2010 open range had one and it was great. They are sometimes called batwing antennas.

    What did I do wrong

What did I do wrong - fixed Ok. I'll try and keep this short. We used our rig two weeks ago. When we were packing up I pumped the pink stuff into all the lines. I drained dumped all tanks and drained the fresh tank. Got to the rig yesterday and could not get water to run so I could flush the...

    Landmark Kitchen Update Feedback Requested

In our San Antonio the only access to the trash is under the sink from the back of the island. How about opening up the front of the island so you can access it from both sides. Also please put stronger fasteners on the barrel shaped cabinet door. When we got our unit the door had broken off...

    New GM for Landmark

I am looking forward to seeing changes and improvements, especially in the QC area. That said, if he really wants to show that he can tackle a problem, let him take on the rear ladder issue.

    Tapatalk forum reading App

I've noticed that many forum members use tap to talk as a way to use the forum. I was going to get that app and join the group because the concept seems great but then I read the reviews. According to them the app has a significant problem with crashes, both the iPad and iPhone versions. A new...

    Help, Rubber Roof ballooning

Re: Help, Rubber Roof balloning Sorry to hear about the problem you are having with ballooning. I hope that between you, your dealer, and Heartland you get the problem resolved quickly. All that aside, I'd sure like to hear more about the roof mounted camera you installed. Is it wired or...

This answer is simple. The state with the worst drivers is whatever state you happen to be driving in at the moment. :-)

    Outside Ladder.

I asked Jim Biletti to address this concern in a post a while back. No response. No response from Heartland. My dealer said that the problem I'm having with the ladder not being stable is not because of the ladder itself, but because of the lack of reinforcement that Heartland builds into the...

    Recliner chairs;

We also got rid of our recliners. We purchased theater seating from a local furniture store (American Furniture Warehouse) and they work great. You don't need to order from the factory. It's less expensive to get them yourself from a furniture store. That way, you get exactly what you want.

King-Controls SL1000 digital signal meter- any good????

My last 5'er came with one of those bat wing antenna's and it had a signal strength indicator right at the knob where you rotate the antenna. I was really surprised that Heartland is still using the older style antenna. I just purchased a signal strength indicator but have yet to use it (maybe...

    Winter Heating Problem - Solved

Its a special winter rate. They have over 200 spaces and most don't get used over the winter. So, its only 35 per month to store the rig on a full hookup site and then 18 per day if you want to use it. This is our third winter here.

    Winter Heating Problem - Solved

So, I've been reading all about ways to keep the underbelly of an RV heated during cold winter weather. I've read about folks who just use a space heater, others swear by an incandestent bulb. But for me, the propane heater has always been the best. The problem has always been, getting the...

I Must Have Missed A Step

I Must Have Missed A Step

First, Happy Thanksgiveahkkah to the Heartland Family. I hope each of you are enjoying a great, relaxing day. Now for my question. Today we went to where our trailer is spending the winter to open it back up, de-winterize it, and get it ready for us to spend a few days in it. Before we left...

FIXED: Water under kitchen sink on 2014 BH3875FB

Re: Water under kitchen sink on 2014 BH3875FB Our new Landmark had the same issue and it was loose fittings across the board causing the problems. But, all is better now (finger's crossed).

Circulating Heat to the Underbelly Area

Use propane for those few nights that get below freezing and your electric heaters for the other 99.9 percent of the time. We cold weather camp here in Colorado where it's not really cold until you hit single digits or below zero.

rear ladder bent and broke on 2013 2950RK

We can continue to bring up the same item, over and over again, and all that does is make us frustrated. We create innovative solutions to solve the problem and that is great but in truth it solves the symptom not the problem because the ability to fix the problem rests with Heartland not us...

rear ladder bent and broke on 2013 2950RK

I've looked at the back and to be honest, I can't find where they redid the holes. Now, its possible that they moved them so close that the old holes are under the support caps. Its also possible that they just tried to tighten up what was already there. It is marginally better, but there is...

rear ladder bent and broke on 2013 2950RK

Fixing the ladder was on my list of initial warranty work. I only weigh about 180lbs but when I would climb the ladder the supports seemed ready to pull out from the back wall of the coach. The fix that Heartland sent the dealer was to reattach the ladder in new holes. Well, it's better but...

    New Loveseat Recliner

Well, we've owned our Landmark for 3 months and it took that long to remove the 2 Glider, Swivel, Rocker, Recliners (GSRR) and replace them with a nice double recliner with a center console. What a difference. No more pulling out the GSRRs so we could recline. No more swivel when we don't...

    Solution for Floor Problem

They can't tell me because Heartland has not authorized them to really peal back the vinyl and find out. But, I did have a second flood caused by the pipes under the kitchen sink not being put together correctly and I'm pretty sure that is what caused most of this problem. But still, no...

    Solution for Floor Problem

Getting to the factory is just not an option for me. And considering how long this is taking, it looks like this part of the warranty work will have to wait until Spring. I am picking my RV up at Camping World on Wednesday and taking it to its winter home at the Air Force Academy. It looks...
