    Perplexing surround sound issue

I have 2012 Bighorn 3585rl. It came with an Sharp Aquos tv and a Jensen AWM970 receiver. I installed red/white rca plug, 75 ohm digital coaxial rca cable, 5v D.C adapter and an Orei digital audio optical converter. Turned tv speakers off and went to aux 2 on the receiver. Still no surround...

    Adding small fridge

I want to have frig/freezer if the height isn't too tall. I was hoping someone would know the basement height. My camper is in northern MN. right now which is 700 miles away. Knowing the size I could buy one and take it up next week.

    Adding small fridge

Do you know the height of the frig you installed? Your basement should be about the same as my Bighorn. Thanks, Dave

    Adding small fridge

We have a 2012 Bighorn 3585RL and thought about putting a small fridge in the storage area. It seems like everytime we add something to the big fridge it takes a while before it recovers back to normal temps and it usually is some type of liquids. Has anybody done this before? And does anybody...

Where can I purchase an axle saddle? I have (2) 12 ton bottle jacks and need to raise my tires. Also what size would the axle be on a 2012 3585RL? Thanks

    Frame Twisted?

Thanks Ray and everyone else for suggestions and comments. Also it seems like the ODS front landing jack might have settled even on cement block. I'm burning some brain cells figuring out if that would make the gap on the inside top left hand corner pocket door. Minnesota ground moves a lot I've...

    Frame Twisted?

Ray, the set-up guy didn't go inside to check level but instead just put a level across the back of coach. Then he put the level on the frame right behind the front landing leg to check front to back. I'll use your suggestion and run a level mid-ship inside camper. The coach might have settled to...

    Frame Twisted?

The camper was delivered and set-up thru the dealership last May. It was leveled side to side but the guy didn't put a level inside the camper but instead put the level across the back end. I never noticed the pocket door being like that before. Could the back end be level but the front be...

    Frame Twisted?

I have a 2012 3585Rl on a seasonal in northern Minnesota. When I closed it up for the winter I happen to notice the top left hand corner of the bathroom/bedroom pocket door had a 1" gap when closed. The bedroom closet door has the same issue. The bedroom entry door latches 25% of the time. Could...

How to Adjust Settled Front Hyd. Jack

Ray, I think it is standard. I'm not sure what a level up system is and never heard it mentioned during the PDI. This rig was brought and set-up by the rv dealer this spring. I'm hoping that the ground just settled. I'm going to run the slides in and do what you guys have suggested. Also check...

How to Adjust Settled Front Hyd. Jack

I'll have to use my trusty jack since I had this rig delivered to my seasonal site. No hitch. That decision might bite me sometime down the road. Ha

How to Adjust Settled Front Hyd. Jack

So all I have to do is press the switch and it will self level? Sounds to good to be true.!! This is my 1st. experience with this system. Learning curve.

How to Adjust Settled Front Hyd. Jack

I have a 2012 3585RL that is level side to side at the axles and rear jacks but it seems one of the front hyd. jacks has settled. How do I adjust just one at a time? I have read other posts and it looks like I can't do it. So do I need to jack up one corner then either drop a leg or add a board...

    Remove Tv for Winter

Hey thanks everybody for your comments and suggestions. I'll look in the manual first at the temp. range and go from there. It might be a toss up on whether to leave in camper or tote it 700 miles home. Dave

    Remove Tv for Winter

We have our Bighorn on a seasonal spot in Northern MN. It will stay there year around. Our dealer told us it would be smart to remove the LED tv before winter or it might crack due to cold. Has anyone else been told this and is it necessary to do this? It looks like it would be a pain trying to...

    2012 3585rl

We saw our camper for the first time yesterday. Did the PDI walk around. Some small issues to take care of before using it but the camper looks great. MY ? is has anybody tried swapping the couch and 2 recliners around. It was an afterthought when we left. I realized it might be an issue when...

    2011 Model Year Bighorn Changes

We ordered a 2011 3585rl in March 2011 and it arrived April 20th. Now the dealership is calling it a 2012. Weird!? Before we ordered it we looked at several dealer websites and I too noticed the fireplace was on the left or on the right depending on which camper I was looking at. So when we...
