    We have boxer. She travels in back seat of truck and sleeps with us or on the couch. She is definately spoiled. She only takes up about half of the seat so other things can be put there also. We have never had any problems with traveling with our pet. Wouldnt think of being without one.

    Turning the Table.

    Turned our table around and we love it. We also took 2 chairs home to make more room. If we have company we just bring in 2 of the fold up chairs. We did use a #2 square drive and cordless drill. Good luck.

    We camp year round and have heated mattress pad in our fifth wheel. I never turn my side on but my husband loves it. We have had it for 3 years and it works great.

    how do I remove pleated blinds in coach

    Unfortunately you do have to remove the valances and lamberkins. The pleated blinds are screwed into the wall. I took mine down to put shrink plastic on some windows and it was definately a job. Good luck and let me know how your blinds are. I may change ours.

    I have taken all of the screens out in out Bighorn. Just lift up on them and pull out the bottom. The problem is that it is so easy we all look for a way to make it hard.;)

    Our insurance is thru Foremost. They do cover replacement cost on the unit and contents. It has very good liability coverage while the unit is parked in the campground in case someone visiting is hurt. Have had coverage with them on all of our trailers and our fifth wheel

    Portable Ice maker? Any Thoughts?

    Have tried every website I could to find one that will keep the ice frozen so you don't have to put it in the freezer. I guess it does not exist. If anyone knows of one please post information. I have had one for 2 years and love it but just need more freezer space.

    I have changed 2. The cover unscrews to remove. Some are harder to unscrew than others. We have replaced some of our bulbs with LED's.

    Window Insulation to Maintain Interior Tempature

    I took the window treatments down while I applied the shrinkable storm windows. It works great for us. Can tell a difference in the summer and winter. You don't even know it is there when it is shrunk with the blow dryer.

    We have never used straps on the recliners or chairs at table. We also took out 2 chairs to the table and turned the table lengthwise in front of the window. We have never used straps and have had no problems with anything moving. Turning the table has given us lots of extra room for the dog. :)

    Why I bought a Bighorn

    We have lived in our Bighorn fulltime since Oct 2010 and have no complaints. The quality has been great. We have friends with a Landmark and I don't see any difference in the quality. Very glad we made this decision.

    I use a 12 inch pizza stone that I bought from ABC Distributing. Very cheap and if it does break I won't cry over it.

    We purchased our Big Horn from them in October 2010. Got the best price of anywhere we checked. Was well worth dealing with them. Would purchase from them again if we ever upgraded. They are really easy to deal with and very helpful.

    What do you guys recommend for hanging Pics and other wife junk?

    I have used the 3M products to attach almost everything in our fifth wheel. I have hung pictures that are 9X12 and several smaller items and have had no problems. Also they are as easy to remove as advertised. I have moved items with no damage to the walls.

    I mounted ours under the cabinet over the toilet and it works great. Can put 2 towels on rack folded with wash cloths on them. Have not had a problem at all. Also put round towel holder on wall over light switch for the towel when washing hands.

    Portable ice maker recommendations please

    I have had portable ice maker from Camping World for 2 years now. It works great but I have trouble keeping room in the freezer to keep the ice. Does anyone know of a portable ice maker that keeps the ice frozen so you don't have to put in the unit freezer? Thanks for any information.

    Filling fresh water tank through drain hose

    Don't have any problem filling our tank full as long as I use hose with end cut off and put the end of the hose about 2 ft into the hole. It keeps the water from poping back.
