I am trying to find a good sleeper sofa for my landmark. The one we have is just very uncomfortable. Just wanted to know if any of you seasoned campers might be able to point me in the right direction for where to get a comfortable sleeper sofa. Wife wants the guests to be comfy.
Thanks
I have a 2005 landmark. I am not sure if I have a hose connection to flush the black tank in the sewer valve compartment. The only ports I see are the city water connection and the port to fill the fresh water holding tank and a spray port that has a connection similar to a connection you...
I keep my landmark here at my house. I am able to keep it plugged into shore power. It is best to keep it plugged in year round or should I turn the battery off and unplug it while not in use?
Wanted to let you guys know I appreciate all your help. turns out that it was just a bad battery causing the third slide not to work. Just never imagined that the first and second slide would repeatedly open and close but not the third due to a weak battery. What clued me in that it was the...
Couldn't find any manual reset buttons for the battery but now I am getting the same clicking noise when I try to raise the jacks. Seems like it isn't getting the power from the battery to raise them. I have to think the battery is the problem. I guess the converter could be the problem as well.
I will check the battery also. It could be the original battery. I bought this camper about a year ago and I don't really know how old it is. That could be the issue but I am not sure why it would extend and retract the other two if the battery was bad. I noticed something different when...
I have three manual valves. One that says door side one that says bed and the other says off door. The door side is the problem. Im not sure how to operate the manual override but I was making an attempt and when I put the 1/4 inch hex in the back of the pump and turn it counter clockwise...
I have a 2005 Landmark. It has three slides, bedroom, kitchen, and living room slide. The living room slide will not retract. It is always the last one to retract. When it begins to retract its as if the motor won't engage. I can't find in the owners manual how to manually retract it...
I have a Domestic A/C in my trailer. It has a remote that I have always used to control the unit. It also has two buttons on the overhead unit itself (cool and heat). I noticed that the AC wasn't cooling to the desired temperature. Think the fan was the only thing running. I can't get the...
Reese Goosebox
Does anyone know if the Reese Goosebox Adapter will fit on a Trailair L05 pinbox? They offer two different models. One comes with spacers and the other one does not. I ordered the one without spacers and Im not sure if either one will fit.
I noticed when I was looking online that Reese Goosebox made two different models? One with spacers and one without for the mounting. I am not sure if i will need the spacers or not. Does anyone know. I have a 2005 Landmark with a Trailair L05
Thanks

Thanks cookie. I read it and come up with something to create that tent. And yes that helped tremendously. Thanks for directing me to the link. Very helpful
Tim
Great idea with the "tent in a vent". I posted a question about poor airflow in the duct system and was directed to this thread. I couldn't wait to try it out so i went searching for something i could use to create a tent in the vent. I tore off a piece of cardboard off a box that a case...
Like I said, I really don't have much choice. Too dangerous to pull with my F250. The reese gooseneck adapter has an air ride system. I have also read that it has been authorized by dealers and won't void your warranty. Not that I have any warranty left anyway.
Just purchased a 2005 Landmark. Been testing things out in the driveway. It has two AC units and seems to cool pretty well. Been in the 90's here in Austin the last couple of days and the unit seems to stay in the 70's. Can't really complain about that. The only thing I have noticed is that...
I just purchased a Reese Gooseneck Adapter. It should be here in a few days. I have read many different opinions on the gooseneck adapter. I would prefer to stick with my companion hitch but unfortunatley its not economically possible. I have an F250 I can use my companion hitch on but it is...
My F550 has an 11' flatbed with the recessed ball that is welded in. Dealers tells me it would be no problem to hook the gooseneck adapter up to the ball. I have noticed when I hook my horse trailers up to the F550 it seems like the front of my trailers are a little higher than if I hook up to...
I am using the companion hitch on my F250. I added overload springs to help with the amount of squatting the rear of the truck would do. But it still seems to have maxed out all the springs anyway. I am just wondering if it is safe to pull this trailer with this truck? It is a 37' landmark...
I have two pickups that I can use to pull my 37' Landmark. One is a F250 and the other F550. I am using the F250 with a companion hitch. I pull gooseneck horse and stock trailers a lot more often than I will pull my Landmark. I didn't get the gooseneck adapter because the guys at Explorer...
I am new to this site. I want to post a new thread but I can't find where to start a new thread. And I know that I started this one. I stumbled onto the Post New thread button somewhere but now I can't navigate back to it. Please help
thanks
Here is the problem. The camper is 7 years old. The parts department needs a part number. I have looked all over the scissor jack and motor for some sort of part number. Cant find one. The nearest RV store is about 30 miles from me. I would call Heartland but I can't give them the info...
I broke the motor down this far. The gear in the middle was froze up. I broke it loose and now it turns freely. After I broke it loose I tested it on a battery. It would barley turn. It spun a few times and would quit. I don't see how to break it down much further. Im proud of myself for...
Here is a picture of the motor. I can't find any numbers or a name on it. Does it look like a lippert? I haven't had much luck finding another motor that looks like this online. Any help would be appreciated.
Im getting power to the switch and I tested power from switch to motor. I get power to the motor when I push the extend button and when i push the retract. I pulled the motor and touched the wires to the battery. I got nothing. Looks like its the motor after all. Are these motors pretty...
Here is the picture of my battery compartment. I didn't find any reset buttons located in here. I pulled the switch out hoping to find a loose or disconnected wire but I did not. I also didn't see any fuses between the switch and the motor.
My battery compartment doesn't look anything like that. I have taken a picture and as soon as i figure out how to attach it I will. My battery is charged and working. Slides work etc. I will check to see if there is power at the switch next.
I just purchased a 2005 37' Landmark. The rear stabilizer jacks won't extend. Anyone know where the fuse panel is for the jack? Any troubleshooting tips would be helpful. Thanks
