    Ford F-250/350 or Ram 2500/3500

It depends on what you are driving now compared to what you end up with. I traded out of my F150 Raptor for a Ram 3500 DRW Mega cab with the Aisin and 3.73 gears. I went with the mega cab because I own the 4100 that is supposed to allow me to tow it with a short bed, besides I did not want to...

    SOLVED: Electrical issues

Re: Electrical issues Found out that the receptacle by the mini-fridge outside had a wire that lifted...replaced receptacle and now all receptacles are working. Called heartland (again) and was told how the power is routed from the GFI outlet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    SOLVED: Electrical issues

Re: Electrical issues Lot of great input. I have a receptacle checker and all the other outlets and equipment works. Tree of the outlets are not on slides and are on the kitchen island. My best guess is that the J-box that is causing this issue is under the trailer beneath the udder belly...

    SOLVED: Electrical issues

I have a 2014 4100 and I Just had four outlets stop working. The four outlets are as follows: the stereo under the sink, the one under the stereo, the one on the inside of the island by the sink, and the strange one on the couch slide. The GFI in the bathroom is fine and no tripped breakers...

I also found a small drip coming from the tub faucet cold water side. I do have the access panel to reach it so not that big of deal. Hopefully when you are at the dealer they will install one for you. The only other place you may be able to reach it is from the where the small fridge is...

    Power issues

Under some black covers on the hot water tank are your temperature thermostats one for AC (120 VAC) and one DC (12VDC) for LP. You can first see if you are getting voltage to the element using a multimeter, if you are not, check the thermostat. You can tell visually if is bad, but check to see...

    Cyclone 4100 Wobbly

I have the 4100 (MY 2014) with the 6 point leveling system. It seems that the unit is a bit wobbly. Should I add something to stop the sway? Called Heartland and was told that it is that way because I am not on level ground and all tires are not touching which which is putting stress on the...

    Installing 6-Point Level-Up System

I was quoted about $5400 from a Camping World in PA...so I decided it needed to come from the factory installed...I did notice that on some 2013 Cyclones that did not have them, but were prepped they had plates in place so the system could be bolted on (or at least that was my thought). Sent...

    Dealer Experiences

I just purchased a Cyclone from RV Wholesalers, they will beat any price by $100. I know when you are talking about $35K or more $100 does not seem like much, but every little bit helps. I did not do this but there is an RV park about 4 miles from them that you can take your new unit to for a...

danemayer, the trim stuff is not a major problem, the window and the water are issues that concern me. Not sure if the window will leak down the road and if there is damage to the flooring in the garage. The wall in the closet also is a concern, is there other damage that I can not see? The...

    Changed up our closet

Great use of space. DW and I will be purchasing our first unit this week to live in, Cyclone 4100. This will help with some of the pain of moving from a 4 bedroom house to a home on wheels. I think this would work in the are where the washing machine hookup is.
