I am the original owner of this rig. Had to have the water lines replaced do to clamps not done right (leaking lines) but that was years ago. I do not want to tear the whole rubber floor out if possible??
My storage compartment is sagging. Had to put wood slates in to go home with supplies in storage. Feels like I only have rubber on the floor and it’s stretched. should there be lumber under the rubber? What’s the best way to check what’s going on. Frustrating to say the least. Update. Checked no...
Re: Shower leaking update
Thanks to all your input problem solved. I did turn out to be the shower surround not sealed properly. Day 2 no leaking. I now have a selfie stick for searching the pipes and noticed that the plumbing diagram sent to me from Heartland was not even close to what we...
this is why I’m asking the forum for ideas. As we can not access the pipes from the basement area Heartland suggested going through the wall where the control panel is located. There is no water on the pipe to the basement just coming out from under the shower.
We have a 2012 3585 RL bighorn. Water puddle coming from under the shower in bathroom. Opened up basement and crawled over all the electrical plumbing hot water heater to find shower drain line placed between 2 walls. No access. Talked to heartland said should be able to reach hand in. That...
Don't try calling Heartland there service rep was of no help. Sorry don't know about the product and systems are down until the 4th of January so I can't check on it. I asked him yesterday if he could talk to someone regarding the kit to see if it would work. Can not do I am the service rep...
We purchased the extended warranty when we purchased the trailer through Rocky Mountain Rv It's called Portfolio : Administered by First Extended Service Corporation
I called our extended warranty and as it's not mechanical but structural its not covered by warranty. But there is a Slide Out Floor Repair. order part # 26076 (as seen on other threads) called heartland and am waiting on a call back from them on the repair kit. They also did not know what I...
Problem is still on going. Heartland rep suggested putting a metal sheet under the slide floor. I guess he hasn't read all the posts from heartland owners with the same problem. Not water damage. Need a slide repair kit. They sell them. Should have them installed before the damage. Waiting on a...
Do you have any idea what caused it.?

Yes we check the rig more than twice a year. Everything's sealed. It does not appear to be water damage. The other slide has some of the black plastic sealant coming off also. Wood is perfectly dry.
Anyone have the wood floor separate (come out in pieces) from the underside of the slide. Noticed wood on carpet when the slide was out.
Looked under slide and the black plastic cover peeled off and the plywood is coming off in pieces .
Not sure how to fix.
Purchased April 2013 Bighorn...

Thank you everyone for your help. Back on the road again with working hydraulics. Was able to unhook buy a switch and install it.

Re: Hydraulic Landing gear will not extend
Hi Dave
If that's the little black button I have pressed it. So did the tech guy. Do you think that just getting a new switch is going to correct this problem? That is what I am being told. i should advise them to change the reset breaker also !
Hydraulic front landing gear switch was not working when arrived at campground. Had a service tech out and he tried to replace the switch with one that was not a Lippert. Did not work and he tried to hot wire the switch to get the jacks down. They would only go down a little then stop. He...
We have a 2012 Bighorn 3585rl. Solid back no hitch/bumper. Has anyone put a hitch on one of these units if so how and what would you suggest???? Wanting to carry two Kayaks.
It was an loose fitting line from the docking station. Our unit does not have a overflow on the tank. The water comes back out the docking station. Sealed the water line then drilled a larger outlet hole in the cap and ran a line out the bottom of the docking station. Working well.
My problem is I use a RO system in our new 3585rl. This unit does not have a overflow under the unit it comes out the docking station. I have been surprised to open up to a flooded basement. Anyone know how to properly seal the holding tank so that this stops happening??
