I would follow your plan thru Indy, then VKTalley route up I69. On US31N the last hour or so the drive was so rough it ripped the refrigerator out of the slide out. That was 8 months ago. We had to add an extra item to our service center repair list.

You will find out what works best for your camper. I always put one extra row of blocks under the slide side tires after finding level. When I extended the slide the camper leveled out perfect. worked for years.
