And I also had two blowouts on my vacation because they elect to put "blowmax tires" on their units. One of which did over $2000 damage to the side of my fiver. I also had an A/C get replaced under warranty. I think I had more than my share of problems.
yeah, my experience with them wasnt good either. They seem shady. I had a small limb tear a couple of very small holes that were easily patchable with rubber patches, and they voided my "forever warranty" because I elected to just patch them myself instead of letting them hose my insurance...
Well, sorry to say my 2014 Torque 380 will be my last Heartland product. We sprung for a brand new 2014 Torque 380. Immediately after purchasing it, our bedroom slide started malfunctioning, I guess there was some manufacturing defect. We took it in to Dixie Rv in Defuniak springs, fl, and...
I had the same thing happen on a long trip to Disney on I-75. One swollen up like a balloon and we stopped before it blew , thanks to a friendly motorist. I had to let air out of it to get it off. On the way back, no such luck , tire blew and did $2500 worth of damage to my trailer. When I got...
We ran over a nail and heard the hissing as we were pulling into our campsite on the way to the smokies. Called good Sam and they had them come out first thing next morning. We're a little late, but no biggie. Oh and one other thing, they said they were going to text me the name of the repair...
Man you ain't lying! All I kept thinking was am I swinging out enough to keep the tail out of trouble. And that was in the opposite lane for a brief moment. Traffic was light thank goodness. Oh , and cool story, we had a biker in front of us that saw our plight and he escorted us through and...
Me and my wife stayed in Townsend Tn and the headed to Cleveland ga. Made big mistake of using google maps to get our route from Townsend to Cleveland which took us through the dragons tail. Big mistake we lived to tell about it. 318 curves in 11 miles. Lucky we didn't get a ticket pulling our...
They kept my camper for a long time and after I pressed them to hurry up , they fixed the rollers and put a slide out gasket on. When I picked it up I saw what they were talking about, the underside of the slide has some 1/8 inch deep scratches in the fiberglass where the motor was pushing the...
Mine was only about 5 days. I got suckered into the Eco coating on the outside and inside. In all the excitement of the purchase and knowing we were gonna keep it a long time we opted for it. Probably a mistake but anyhow...

Yeah, the dealership is 60 miles one way from my home. They've had my rig for almost 3 weeks and he's still not done completing a punch list of little things that needed fixing. They said all is done except my bedroom slide bottom gasket is torn to shreds and he said they still haven't fixed...
Wow my 2014 Torque 380 has 3 axles full of blowmaxes. Wish I had known when I bought it, and I would have told them to change them out or no deal Howie.

Oh btw, the service tech told me that if I patched on that curve in the roof it wouldn't last 3 months. Also said it would cost $8500 to fix it due to the length. Is that BS using the eternabond?

I was told they didn't charge but around $175 I think. He bragged that they didn't charge as much as other dealers. I was gonna try it out for one year and see if I felt pain in my rear when I pulled off. We purchased the extended 5 year warranty anyway.

it's a new type warranty that dealerships can offer as an incentive to buy your camper from their dealership. The catch is they give you coupons and whenever a year rolls around and you have to bring your camper and let them inspect the roof and the appliances...
Thanks for the heads up. I really appreciate the advice. I invested a lot in this camper and I want to keep the inside dry. That's where the big expenses come in. I guess I'm OCD about having a new camper with tape on top. Plus for only $250 deductible I keep my forever warranty intact. The...
My dilemma is this, I have a forever warranty that will void if I dont replace the roof. I called an my deductible is only $250 to get a whole new roof. I know Im lining their pockets, but for $250 I will keep my warranty and have a new roof with no patches. Its a 2014 model too.
Took my 5th wheel in for yearly checkup and was told I need a whole new roof due to a 2 1/2 inch tear on the curve of the roof (see pic). Apparently a tree limb got it. Can this be patched effectively or am I at the mercy of my "forever warranty" to replace the whole roof to keep that in...

I sure wish I could , but my son lives in Dawsonville Ga, and we've made plans to meet them at the corps of engineers park at Lake Walter F George near WestPoint, GA. It's a great halfway point for both of us. And I get to see my 13 month old grandson!!
We recently purchased the Torque 380 and we love it. We have always owned travel trailers and with our kids now having kids, we needed more room. This unit comfortably houses 6 people. On our first camping trip, we were in a monsoon on Lake Eufaula , Alabama, and we were able to be inside with...
That is a great idea. I could put my phone on speaker and do the same thing. I like the advice about eye contact. Great advice. Thank you.
