Lovely.... I guess the residential fridges just weren't made to handle the movement of being in an RV over the long term.
I squarely blame the horrible roads in Louisiana and Oklahoma. ;-)

Hello Fellow Heartlanders...
I have a 2015 Big Country 3650RL that we bought new back in October of 2014 - so we have had it 9 years now. We travel a fair bit and this trailer has a ton of miles on it... Anyway, I discovered today that my Frigidaire Residential Refrigerator has a two cracks...
Thank you for the info. I can tie up various jacks on my trailer with tie-down straps and the problem moves around. If it was a specific jack, I don't think that would be happening. So just to get my terminology straight... I assume the Hydac valve is mounted in the hydraulic manifold...
We have absolutely loved our 2015 Big Country 3650RL. We have traveled all over the United States with it. I would estimate in the past 8 years it has been towed approximately 40,000 miles. It is well maintained and taken care of, etc. and is our 3rd RV trailer and we absolutely love it. We...
So I continue to struggle with my leaking jacks on my Big Country. A few weeks ago, I emailed the team at Lippert the following information:
The response I got from Lippert is below:
My question is how do I check that the valves are closing properly?
Thanks.
This is really good information, I need to re-read it and make sure I am consuming it properly. I am pretty good with mechanical items but I am not very experienced with hydraulics....
Thank you!
You, how that is a really good point. Never changed it. I assume you just pulled all the jacks and slides in so the reservoir is full, then sucked it out all out with with a fluid pump. That is an easy task that I should do first. What type of fluid is the best to replace it with?
Thanks!
Uhggg... I have same problem.
So I have a 2015 Heartland Big Country 3450RL. So my issue where I need a little advice is that two of my 6 hydraulic leveling jacks leak down while in storage. So I parked my RV from my last trip in early May with the back four jack retraced and only the front...
So I finally got around to fixing my power cords (extension cord & main power cord). Two $16.00 parts from Amazon easily took care of the problem.

Just a public service announcement.... inspect your shore power cord - specifically the male connectors - periodically.
While we were on vacation, I encountered an issue with my 50 amp RV power cord. So all was well when we were in Angel Fire, NM. But when we arrived in Durango, CO and I...
Well I did some investigation over the weekend and the issue is leaking of the hydraulic lines around the fittings where the line goes into the press-clamp before the metal fitting. All the fittings themselves are tightly screwed onto the manifold. The leak is very minor but it is there on...
I have a 2015 Big Country 3650RL with the 6 point Level-Up system. About 3 years ago my jacks started leaking so over the span of about 21 months, I ended up replacing all 6 jacks. (I am not impressed with the quality of these components....). Anyway, all has been good since all the jacks...
So I finally got around to installing my Christmas present this past weekend - TST 507 System with Color Display.
For the past 10 years or so, I have used the TireMinder system. Last year my receiving unit / display that goes in the truck cab went bad so I had to buy a replacement one from...
Yup. I am religious about checking and tightening. Growing up as a farm boy in South Georgia, I lost a wheel and a load of corn on a wagon because of loose lugnuts. Had to clean it up all by myself (500 bushels) - not fun.

I am a huge fan of Sailun Tires. I have run the 637T since 2014 on this trailer with ZERO issues. I immediately replaced the crap tires Heartland put on the trailer from the factory in the September of 2014 with Sailuns. I replaced them 3 years later in early 2018 with another set of 637Ts...
Howdy, I noticed a couple of threads on this topic that were a little dated so I decided to start another one....
I have a 2015 Big Country 3650RL - which we absolutely love! I hate the tin covered lugnuts. I have a couple that have cracked and I want to replace all 32 of my lugnuts...
I have a 2015 Big Country 3650RL. I ran my first set of Sailun's at 105 PSI for 5 years and no issues. Just put my second set on and ready for another 5 years....
Texas heat and sun is rough on tires...
Hello fellow Heartlanders!
We are planning a trip from Texas to Glacier National Park next summer and I have some questions for those of you that have made that journey...
What is the best month in the summer to visit Glacier? I was thinking Late July / early August.
We are hoping to...
Ok, I have one more route question....
One of the last legs of our summer trip is from Angel Fire, NM to Lubbock, TX. The most direct route is via NM-434 to NM-518 to Las Vegas, NM. Any one traveled these roads with a 40 foot 5er recently?
The major highway route would be US-64 East to...
Hello. In a couple of weeks we will be traveling with our 40 foot 5th wheel RV from Gallup, NM to Bryce Canyon, UT.
Google Maps suggests this route:

Any thoughts or suggestions on this route?
Thanks,
Chris
Well I am finally getting back to this topic/issue as we are getting ready for spring and summer trips.
Another question for everyone.. On my 2015 Big Country - for the external light above the door, the one under the overhang that shines on the pin box, and the flood lamp, how do you get...
Hi, I need a little advice... I have a 2015 Big Country 3650RL (we love it!!) and my porch light above the door has stopped working as well as two remote activated flood lights (on both sides). My remote works as I can control my awning so I know that is good. I assume that the porch light...
