We traveled from Hill City, SD (not far from Mount Rushmore) to Estes Park, CO last summer and used the following route: 385 South to Pringle 89 to to US 18 US 18 all the way to to Orin at the US 18 & I-25 intersection South on I-25 It was a very easy route - good roads and no issues.

I have the same new truck - 2017 F-350 Lariat Ultimate CC Short Bed. (I love the truck by the way....) I had been using the B&W Patriot on my 2011 so I went with the B&W Companion for the Ford puck system. As far as I am concerned - it is the only choice. Here are a few photos:

Ok - I purchased the Kobalt Dual Voltage Air Compressor. Works like a champ - much better than the old 12 volt compressor I had. I used it to air up this morning before we left Houston, did all four tires to 110 psi. I love the auto shut off feature.

Will that little compressor really handle going to 120PSI without running hot and shutting off? I have a small 12 volt one that is supposed to do 100 PSI and it runs hot and I have to let it cool down to get from 90PSI to 100PSI. -Chris
