The stock dually inner rears are steel. The outers are aluminum as are the fronts. On these newer ones they are all the same size...
That said on my stock set the fronts are wearing funny compared to the rears, but I only use them strictly to tow ...

The worst is people who stick hid bulbs in a stock housing...shoots light everywhere and blinds everyone...
Halogen housing aint made for those..but its several hundred cheaper than doing it correctly with the correct hid projector housing...

Well it worked out fine....I went ahead and disconnected from the water just in case...
Ran heat strip garage with quick cool vents open.
Ran fireplace on high in living room along with a eden pure type heater
Ran set furnace to 70.
Garage to bedroom it was comfortable!!

So we are in texas and lets be real...its not the cold capital of the us to say the least...
This time of year we often find great days of 60-70 temps to camp in...
But for a couple of days its gonna be in the low 20s at night....not to mention WINDY!!..
I have a ac heat strip running full...
The small amp is not powered like the long one..you just flip it in and out as needed...i use my foot..

The step is neat...i might use it for the front to do underhood stuff...
It works on the rear but does about the same as my amp side steps...
I cant lie...curiosity and amazon got the better of me and i got this too...its nice to clean the front windows...with the amps in back i dont bother....
But for 30$ its a good value for sure!!

Thanks...I ran by Home Depot and got a plastic coupler for 4$ ...when i get back from this trip I'll just replace the whole line with braided and leave the valve off....

Well...i either didn't get all the water out or when i was shutting it off my super human strength overpowered the brittle plastic....
In any case the drain valve on the outside frame of my rig is dead...
I know im not the first...so whats the best upgrade/replacement option

It should (might) be...its getting 1 ton axles front and rear with a 10" lift...prob 37/13.5/18 wheels tires
It will have the body shaved down and will be wrapped to advertise my business...

I agree....i swapped mine out for amp steps shortly after purchase but i put my old ones on Craigslist and they sold in literally 10 min at full asking price and i had about 30 other offers before i could take ad down...so yeah....people want em!!

Yep...that was one of the nice features on my rw was the upgraded fiberglass/decal...so much nicer than the old dusty fiberglass on my old tt..
I cant say as to longevity as mine sees maybe 12 weeks outside a year...lol..but its sure pretty and sparkly!!

I keep a towel in my bakbox just for that...had to have my paint guy fix a nice scratch my belt buckle put in once too many times...
As for the step i have the amp ones...pricy yes...and they are aluminum so corrosion isnt an issue....
Sometimes i have to use the amp step to climb up the tires...
