I have a friend with that used to run a transmission shop. Said he never had an allison trans. come in to be fixed. said he had a lot of ford tansmissions though. Myself I drive an 06 duramax with an allison and I love it.
I also have had a couple of small tears over the years. used eterna bond tape and have never had a problem. I think if you tied to take it off you would probably tear a bigger hole than you had
I have an o6 duramax and get about what everyone else is gettin about 17mpg around town 20 or so on the highway and between 10 and 12 towing. the truck has 44,000 miles on it. give it a little time . I also cruise at about 55 to 60 mph

I have a bighorn and it does not have a pressure regulator. Your system is only designed to use at Max 50 psi. I personally use an adjustable pressure regulator for my own well being. Unless you have checked the pressure you probably should use a regulator. Not all city water pressure is going...
Re: generator help?
I totally agree with using a an eu2000. My first genny was a 2000. great choice. I now use an eu3000 which I mounted on a slide by my water hookup, the dump valves etc. It to is a great choice but it weighs a 135 lbs. thats why its on a slide
I installed a Jack antenna and it works a lot better than expected. very happy with it as we do boondock a lot, wherever there is a signal it comes in quite nicely
What kind of tundra ? A new one or an older one. I used to pull a 30' keystone Zepplin with an 06 tundra, had no problems with the right hitch setup weight bars and an anti-sway bar. It pulled like a dream. I now pull with a gmc diesel as I have a bighorn now and the tundra would hardly be...
