If it is in a slide with the folding hinge guide for the wires and gas line it maybe kinked. Not sure if you have it but thought i would throw the info out.
I have used Velcro on many things, Just put fuzzy stuff on the pot side not counter. Fuzzy side attracts thing and loses some hold. ( bread crumbs and food particles)
Lets just say you were traveling some object snapped off the low fitting. Now and emergency repair would void the whole trailer warranty I don't think so.I do not think the rep knows his --- from and elbow.Does changing bulbs, Faucet, Mattress, Thermostat,Tires effect the warranty. They make...
You can go to tools on the top of page then heating and cooling someone posted a guide on using a res thermostat. Many guides and tips by using the tools section of this web site. I used a $20.00 Digital Residental. thermostat and added a toggle switch for the fan speeds. It works both air and heat.
We Have a 2016 33pbhs. Never had problem with Stove,Fridge, micro in the slide out. Battery you know they install the cheapest !!!! Otherwise only normal faults like everyone else. Nothing big
Some things we did.Under stove a blank panel removed more storage,Changed out kit and bath faucet...
It is called Daisy Chain. Outlets wired after GFI are then protected. Cost factor also it is legal to do.Most homes the kitchen outlets are protected by one GFI. First outlet coming in from the feed.
I tryed to open ours last month from the inside No Go. Went outside with window unlocked and pryed with a screw driver. Window was stuck to the gasket. Most likely never opened since installed.
I would not notch the frame!!!! You could get yourself in a hole lot of trouble if and accident is involved.A mode like that your insurance probably say your on your own. They built how many trailers over the years all have the same set up.I still say you jacked it to tight You probably didn't...
I think you were more than a 45 degree angle. Looks like you jacked it to tight.Do you remove the bars when backing? Most instructions say to remove when backing into a site.
I don't want to be a pain but the one picture you posted with the box showing a galv. strap supporting the box is that a sheet metal screw? Is the strap grounded to metal? How long is the screw will it chafe the wire? I know you were working in Hi Temps maybe a problem later on!!! I see you...
Hi we have a prowler 33p bhs.Under the stove in ours there was a panel covering up a large dead space. I removed the molding and found a area big enough to store 3 cases of water or if the Dog gets there first 1 Old English Sheep Dog. I also found alot of space under Island sink and bathroom...
Ours also came coiled up,Fan stuffed up inside not mounted or wires hooked up.I stuffed insulation above fridge and slide out and down the sides.Added 2 fans to top vent and one to bottom vent all running off snap switches plus add 1 double fan inside of frig. Made a baffle going from top vent...
We had a few lighting strikes the last few days.A house away the flag pole was hit.The house is not in the open just wondering if anyone grounds their trailer frame to the ground using a small rod and cable?I have seen people with tall flag poles attached to their trailer.Seeing some RV Parks...
We seldom use water Heater on Propane. Heartland Plumbed it with Black Pipe and copper tubing that stuck out very close to side of trailer. I removed the 8 in nipple and replaced it with a 4 inch nipple. When I removed the female brass pipe to flare fitting the inside was almost filled with pipe...
We purchased a Short Queen from Mattress Insider. For the bunks I purchased a King size gel foam from Amazon and cut it down to size was able to do the two bunks.Slid them into twin mattress covers.I think they were 4 or 6 inch The kids don't complain. The gel foam ones can be cut with scissors...
I have had a light that seemed to be Dull one Time then later be Bright. Finally did some checking and found Heartland in their wisdom mounted the Light switch in the rear bunk area with 1 3/4 in sheet metal screw. Most of the insulation was worn off where the screw had been rubbing. Maybe also...
I purchased a 4 inch gel foam mattress Queen size and cut it down to fit the 2 bunks. Saved the 2 kiddie mattress and put both inside a single size mattress cover. It makes it a little hard to make beds but the 2 boys don't complain about having a sore back !!!!!! I should have said 1 teddy and...
We have 2 motion detect 30 led solar charging. One at the door and one by propane tanks. I used velcro to attach, when traveling just pull them off and put inside. They stay on about 30 seconds or can be manually left on.We have also used them for nite lights inside for the kids. 30 leds a...
Hi I put a home made baffle and a second fan behind ours. I also added snap switch/ thermostat. And a toggle switch also a pilot light on the eyebrow on refrig panel inside.I cut off the fans when not needed. (Wife a very lite sleeper can hear a flea fart)Thermostats I got from e bay Keeps...
We had mice last month also. Son set up traps and used dryer sheetsin all spots. Under shower he removed the acess hole and set trap got 3 under there. Dryer sheets every where he could get to. So far none have returned and trailer smells nice.
Hi I purchased 5 off of ebay for $3.99 . The ones I picked are normally open and turn on at 135 degrees and off I think about 85 degrees. Having no problem here temp about 85 in shade. Freezer about zero refridge. a little above 32. Running 2 fans inslide and 1 in refridge. Thermostat set about...
Re: ATF: Edge - Adding an Outside Porch Light
I added a solar powered motion detector lite with velcro tape. No holes no wires. We remove when traveling. Purchased for about $6.00 online 43 led. plenty bright Its mounted by grab rail by door
Hi
Actually 12 volts is used for the furnace and a/c. From what I can tell by all the posts 12 volts powers a relay for the a/c to turn on the 120 volts. The battery is used by the thermostat. You do not have to add a switch but tha a/c will run the fan only on high speed. Green wire is high...
I did the same model in our prowler. I still have not been able to get the air cond fan to run on low speed. I know you have to add a toggle switch to make it HI/Low.The brown and blue wires are capped off. Other wise you use red to red leave jumper on. Rest of wires just match to markings. Take...
I donn,t know if you have the service manual this is a site that has it in PDF. Maybe this will help Also is there any bafflle mounted ?? Is this in a slider ??
Rm1350 Diagnostic Service Manual - Bryant RV Services
Seems funny both would burn out at the same time !! I would check to see if your only getting 12 volts supplied.Could be someone hooked them up to 120 volt by accident Mine picks up 12 volt off a nylon busbar on the bottom then goes up to the snap switch then to fan. Some of the things I found...
Ok they seem to be 12 volt 3 5/8 x 3 5/8 Dometric # 3851183016. NOT CHEAP About $100.00 each. I replaced the 1 fan in ours with two 120 mm X 120mm computer fans. Like other posters said you can get them on ebay search 12volt 3 5/8 x 3 5/8 fan or 120 mm fans. Should be able to get them for less...
My mistake it is 120 volt Refrig.you can still short across terminal on Snap Switch or use a volt meter. You should get power to at least one side. I,m not sure if there is a inline fuse or not.
You can short across the terminals on snap switches with any wire or paper clip. Yes they are also called Snap Switches !!! It should only be 12 volts. Or use a volt meter. The fans are easy to get many online sellers or they are basically computer fans. Also check wires from fans, on our new...
I know some are hardwired and some are battery. Smoke detectors don't like dampness and dust. Try vacuaming or blow out with air. Also they have a life of about 6 years.Maybe there is a date a date on them.Household ones have dates inside or or backside.
I swaped out the ones in our trailer...
I thought i would pass this onto anyone install more fans on the refridge outside vents. #0 conduit holder brackets fit the pipes and can be rotated to mount on and angle. Solves making a mount bracket and is easy to adjust. I put 1/4 - 20 nylon lock nuts on the carriage bolts.
I know Lowe's...
Just ordered 2 combo smoke /co alarms. Changing out one in front bedroom only has c/o. Putting the other one in rear bunk room.I really don't know why they would not put type of alarm in rear bunk room when water and furnace are mounted under bottom bunk.I think the travel trailer industry/ RV...
I was going to replace the Batteries in the trailer smoke detectors . I replace the one in the front bedroom, on to the next one in living area. Now I get to the rear bunk room and look all over !!!! THERE IS NO DETECTOR OF ANY TYPE !!! Seeing the water heater and furnace is under lower bunk...
Boy did I make a mistake!!!! I said I used a thermostat set at 85 degrees. Correction it is set to on at 113 Degrees. Still about 15 degrees lower than OEM. Maybe that is why it works better and also shuts off. I was never good at conversions from c. to f.
Purchased on E bay 5 for about $5.00...
Just a thought House Hot air systems sometime put a booster fan in a line that doesn't get enough air flow. Maybe you could put a 12 volt computer fan in the duct. 12 volt is easy to run wire or use and old 12 volt power supply from phone or what you have. I had a house that the central air had...
