We are looking at volunteering at Topsail State Park in Destin Florida. This would be from Dec. 1st until April 1st.
Has anyone been there in the winter? We are concerned about the weather in those months.
Any input would be appreciated.
Lost DC light in bedroom and antenna booster. Does anybody know of a DC wiring diagram for a BH 3185.
Not sure if wires go up through the slide or not. Did trace the wire from the light to the booster. But not sure
where the wiring goes from there. Guess I will have to find somebody with a...
Re: No hot water
Finally figured this out. Took the hot water bypass apart and it was full of all kinds of yuck.
After talking with service rep he said the only reason for no hot water when the heater is
working is the bypass valve or the check valve.
Just had my 5th wheel in for some maintenance. I now have no hot water.
The water heater is working but no hot water at the faucets. I have checked
the outside shower and they are both closed. The bypass valves are OK in the UDC.
They replaced the water pump but we are now on city water. Just...
Does any body know where the black tank flush hose is connected? I have a water leak in the basement and traced the hose
but looks like it goes up to connection that I can not reach. I took out the back wall in the basement and I can't see where the
hose goes with out removing a bunch of...
Had this same issue. Heater would turn off after a few minutes. I removed the fireplace (pretty easy).
I then vacuumed the whole area and cleaned everything with my air compressor. Unbelievable the
the tuff that was in the compartment. Saw dust, wood shavings, and plenty of dust. Been working...
I Have a Suburban SW12DE water heater in my RV. Yesterday I noticed water dripping under the water heater.
After removing a lot of stuff , I found that a 1/4 or 1/2 in pipe(plastic of course)
that comes out of the hot water connection in the back of the heater had sprung
a leak. After...
Friend of mine shot a nice buck. He thought it was dead and rolled it over to start field dressing it.
The deer kicked him where it hurts the most and got up and ran away. Luckily we found it a few
hundred yards away and he made sure it was dead before rolling it over.
Has anybody had experience with Taskmaster Provider ST Radial tires?
I am looking to replace my original tires and found these at Discount Tires
at a reasonable price. Just wondering if they are another China Bomb.
Was actually looking at Maxxis but found these.
Any input would be appreciated.
I have a DISH satellite with a 625 receiver. On my previous Big Country I could connect TV2 out from the
receiver to the cable in the living room and receive on the cable in the bedroom. Two dealers have told
me I can not do this on my Big Horn. The wiring is different and I can not receive...
The bathroom sink and shower are draining very slow. Maybe something caught in the drain or pipe?
Was wondering if anybody has ever used Drano or a simular product. Not sure if these would harm
the plumbing or pipes. My feeling they should be OK.
Any comments appreciated.
We are picking our daughter up at the Minneapolis airport and would like
to know of a place near the airport that we could drop our rig for acouple of hours?
Any help would be appreciated.

Before I fill the fresh water tank I have a foot long hose that I use to blow into the vent tube first.
Seems like water gets into the vent and causes water to come out the filler tube before the tank is
full. This works for me anyway
Wondering if anybody has stayed at Safari RV Park in Fairmont City, IL
We are heading south and DW wants to stop at Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site
and the Arch.
Thanks in advance
Word of caution if you have an icemaker.
Seems the water line to the icemaker wasn't wire-tied
and bounced up against heater element. I didn't notice until we turned the
pump on and it kept running. Nice mess under the fridge.
Don't know the all the details, but when we returned to the camp ground last week, the fire department was here and pulling hose. Seems a beautiful class A was on fire and the
the cause was the refrigerator. They were not at home and a neighbor got the door open and got the cats out. Didn't...
We have traded our BC3250 in on a BH3185 and have issues with DISH DVR connections. On the BC I could hook the satellite into the DVR then output one to the TV in the living area and output two to the cable connection in the living area then hook the bedroom TV to the cable connection there. We...
I have been looking at a 2011 BH3185 and would like any pros or cons on the
unit. We have been full timing in our BC3250 for 3 years with no major
problems, but like the options the 3185 has and the dealer is really pushing
to sell it.
Any comments on the 3185 would be appreciated.
Have to...
Need to know what type of replacement vent cover I need for a
2008 Big Country 3250TS. Local store said there are 3 types of
covers and needs to know if they pin type or screw type.
Thanks............
Here is a link I use to get coordinates http://www.dishpointer.com/
It hasn't failed me yet...!!!!!!! Key in your address and the satellites your looking for.
I replaced my Mission tires with MAXXIS E rated in May after blowing two on I-25 in New Mexico.
Did about $800 damage. Still have one of the Missions for a spare. Probably not a good idea!
I was watching local channels from the antenna and suddenly lost all the channels.
Checked the connections and they are OK. Does any one know how the booster
works? (the light stays on) Wondering if something went wrong with the amplifier or something shorted out. Any input would be appreciated.
We left Hobbs NM and planned to meet our daughter from Montana at St. Vrain state park in
Co. We stopped at a rest stop north of Las Vegas NM and as usual I walk around the 5er to
check everything out. Wouldn't you know it, one of my china bombs is loosing its tread. So
I got the spare down...
We have been full timing in our BC3250TS for about 18 months now.
It really feels like home. We spent last winter in Florida and the summer in Montana and we are now in Texas and headed to Wisconsin for the
summer. No major problems with the unit. The triple slide really opens
up the living...

for any problems. There has been a few problems but I have fixed them
myself. Nothing more than some squeaky floors and drawer under refrig

I worked with a guy this summer named Jack Frost. He actually had about an 18 in. white beard and long white hair.
About 40 years ago I had a boss named Harry Butts:p, his real name was Harold but every body called him Harry
