I skipped the prewired altogether as I already had a hole in the roof that has other cable running through it. I ran new coax from the traveler to the UDC using the existing hole and called it good. I found it easier than hunting and guessing. I also am now 100% certain of the location and...
Looks fantastic! Great job, would have cost you significantly more to take it somewhere! Something to be said about having some skills.

I have a 2020 F450 and a 2020 Cyclone 4115. It came with the standard Lippert solid pinbox I used that for a short while and had no issues with turning at all, Jack knifed and all. Recently had a MorRyde RPB put on and have no issues with that either (other than a much better ride :o). I run...
When our daughters wanted that in ours, we put up drapes on a curtain rod on the door it's self. We can move them out of the way when we want to see in and they can have them closed when it's appropriate. Worked out very well.
We ordered a new mattress from Mattress Insider the day we purchased our CY. The factory mattresses are terrible for any unit you buy from any manufacturer. We have accepted that and we know that when we trade for a new unit we just buy a new mattress. You can get whatever size you want...
It'd be interested to see for sure. Im pretty sure that mine are still strait up without any angle to them even after the recall fix. Next time I get to the trailer i'll take a picture from ground level front and we can compare.
I had my unit in for other issues as well such as a crack in the side wall and some other warrantee work as well as some work Lippert had to come out and do for spring hangers so it was there for about 15 days in total. As a side note I was very very happy with the Heartland's repair facility...
Hi Jim,
Do you mind or can you share what platform the forum is moving to? vBulletin is by far the largest one out there. I do like the new Heartland Corporate website, well done to whom was involved.

No. There is about a 1/2" gap between the I-Beam and the new square tubing. All it appears to do is tie the two landing gear legs together and not really add more points connecting them frame.

We have a 4115, we have a combo unit installed on that wall where it's plumbed and haven't really had an issue with the bathroom door. We haven't had some of the issues that others have reported with combo units, my wife says that if you follow the instructions, and don't overload it (use the...
This is identical to how my Cyclone 4115 works. If we don't use the read toilet, we don't have to hook up a hose to the back discharge. Makes things much easier when the rear toilet isn't used.
Good morning all, sorry for the delay in getting these pictures posted, I had to wait for some snow to melt here so I could get them.
I've added some pictures of what the Heartland factory (repair center) in Elkheart did for the recall on my 2020 Cyclone. There is a double crossmember that...
I just had mine done at the heartland factory along with some other warranty work. It’s incredibly easy to add the brace and shims. I can get some pictures in the next couple of days if you still would like them. I have to let the snow settle a little bit.

I have one in the exact same place on my Cyclone. It if you unscrew it you'll have access to the water pipe connections on the back of the water heater. And it allows you to view behind the wall at other items in there (wires and such) without having to remove the wall completely. It has...
X2 - I’ve used both SWR and DWR trades for the DRW about 15 years ago and being based north of Denver I travel in wind a lot and I’m glad that I have stuck with the DRW. I have no issues parking sometime I just have to walk a little bit longer but never an issue.
One other note, I don’t trust wire nuts in areas like that. I would replace that wire nut with a crimp style and sealing heat shrink or solder and sealing heat shrink. Lots of possibilities for corrosion and inoperable lites once again.
During our PDI the tech spent over two hours troubleshoot why our awning lights weren’t working. He pulled out wires had everything inside apart, wires hanging from the awning and could not make them work. He diagnosed it as a bad wire in the wall. He then said we’d have to bring it back...
I don't know what mount they used for your unit but you could call Heartland Customer service and see if they can help. They will want your VIN number so have that handy.
I had to chase that down on ours too. There should be one at the 12v fuse panel that feeds the switch and we had one in the awning arm its self. At the top of the arm that is screwed to the side we had one of those red covered inline fuse holders pushed down in the rail right after the wires...
We block our vents without any problems. We usually have one blocked at a time, i wouldnt want to block more than that as you may block flow and and trip limit switch's or have other issues.
Correct, they are not made to recharge / check the freon levels. Without knowing what AC units you have, I would suggest that make sure that the t-stat is set correctly. I assume based on it blowing hot air that the fan is running which should be on the 120v side, but check to make sure you're...
Good lesson, always check the fuses even ones you don't think are on that circuit. Ive had fuses that "look" good, but when you put an ohm meter in it, boom, not good....
That is the control wire that runs up to the control box for the AC. That box is on the inside of the AC upper unit on the inside of the RV. Remove the filter grate and there should be a grey box that controls the AC where that cord plugs into.
Very nice Flick, I haven't heard a reference to the "yellow pages" for years.... I'm glad to see it hasn't totally left the world. But in this case a tape measure and your fingers are your two best friends. We have the CY4115 with a drop through from the counter and we were able to take...
Even with a topper we found our new King to be subpar, perhaps even terrible and after about a two weeks we had had enough. Check out mattress insider https://www.mattressinsider.com/rv-mattress.html which is where we bought a custom RV King for our new rig. Love it! It's just like sleeping...
