    Hi, New, Full Timer here!

Welcome! My Cyclone 4007 has a four-recliner sofa. Each is an individual piece and they lock to each-other at the base, then each piece is anchored with a single screw in to the slide floor. Extend the recliner footrest and there's easy access to everything.

    Cyclone 4007 bedroom slide issues

Thanks for all of your comments! I do have the Schwintek style (now that I know what that is) and there is a 're-timing' process detailed on the Lippert website. Will give that a try first before going any further. Thanks for getting me down the right path!!

Adding a rear hitch receiver to a 4007

I would LOVE to have my garage free for 'toys'. However, we are full-timers and both work remotely. Converted the garage in to our office so we're low on available space. Although that seems to be our only option at this point. We could probably make it work for space, but we'll have to shed...

Adding a rear hitch receiver to a 4007

Thanks for this info. You are right ... I will be too long to tow another trailer. 65 feet seems to be the common max length in most (if not all) states.

    Cyclone 4007 bedroom slide issues

Hello everyone, 2021 Cyclone 4007 with the 'double' bedroom slide. The outside slide travels out just fine. However, when we pull the outside slide in, one side seems to move faster than the other when it first starts. Then the slower side stops, like its getting hung-up or the slide isn't...

Adding a rear hitch receiver to a 4007

Hello fellow RV'ers! Considering adding a receiver hitch on the back of my 2021 Cyclone 4007. Initially for bikes but could also turn in to towing a small trailer. I know ... toy hauler ... put everything inside the garage, Unfortunately, we are nearing our weight limit and would really like...

Grey water leak on top of grey tank?

Thanks for the responses everyone! I have fairly easy access to the drain and vent ports in to the tank so will do a test and fill-up the tank and watch to see where the leak is coming from.

Grey water leak on top of grey tank?

Hello fellow RV'ers ... 2021 Cyclone 4007. Need a crash-course on waste tanks. Noticed some bulging in the front underbelly of our rig. The 'sloshing' sound when pushing up on the underbelly confirmed it was water. Dropped the front underbelly to drain the water and took off the basement...

    Remove front wall/window of loft?

Yeah... mine went pretty well also. I ended up using the trim from the window in the old wall for most of the trim. Only had to make a couple small pieces to finish.

    Drop-Down TV Mount Recommendations?

Yes! That looks great! ... and I agree, a smaller TV would fit in the space much better. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Drop-Down TV Mount Recommendations?

Hello everyone! Our main living area TV (55") is mounted above the window and I'm looking at getting a drop-down mount to get the TV to a better viewing angle. Has anyone done this before? In doing some research, the RV-specific ones (MORryde) seem to be too small for a 55" TV and I'm...

    Anti-Siphon valve going bad?

Thanks all for your comments and suggestions! I will replace the ASV but that's an easy-access fix. More urgent fix was that the elbow connection from the flush line in to the black tank itself wasn't screwed in all the way and was leaking. Frustrating that it just needed a couple more turns...

Replacing side window assembly. Any tips?

Same situation for me. My window arrived before the new trim ring so I used my old trim ring temporarily. Worked just fine. Note my post above about the new trim ring having more screw holes than the old one so had to order more screws. Good luck!

    Anti-Siphon valve going bad?

Hello RV'ers! Trouble-shooting sewer smells in our main bath. We seem to be getting sewer odors coming from the anti-siphon valve on the black tank flush line. Is this common when the valve fails? No leaking water ... only odor. We also get a clicking sound from the valve when using the...

Replacing side window assembly. Any tips?

BTW ... the new inside trim ring from Lippert came with more screw holes than the old one so had to track down more screws that matched the existing ones. Couldn't find in a local hardware store, so ordered more from Amazon. Turned out to be a perfect match! Here's the info if you need it...

Thanks to all for your replies. All very helpful information! Window replaced and we're back to full strength!

Replacing side window assembly. Any tips?

So ... had a little disagreement between our new 2021 Cyclone and a tree. One of the side windows on the Cyclone (frame and all) lost and needs to be replaced. I have the replacement window and am ready to get it done. Any tips on replacing a window assembly? There wasn't any...

Carefree Freedom Patio Awning won't retract completely

Yes, thanks @danemayer . I tried the 'Submit a Manual' link but it just took me to a blank page. Maybe you have to have certain privs to do that?

Carefree Freedom Patio Awning won't retract completely

Thanks Dan. Unfortunately, not the manual I need. I was able to get the Owner's Manual from Heartland but it doesn't have any service or troubleshooting information.

Carefree Freedom Patio Awning won't retract completely

Hello all! 2021 Cyclone 4007 with a Carefree Freedom Freestyle awning on the back patio. Has been working fine for the six-months that we've had the rig, and last week we extended the awning. When we tried to retract, it only retracted about 2/3 of the way and just stopped. Now the motor...

    Remove front wall/window of loft?

Hello all! 2021 Cyclone 4007 and we only use the loft in the garage for storage. The entry is too small to use anything but the right-half of the loft. Has anyone ever removed the front wall of the loft (the portion with the 'window' opening) to allow more access? Any structural issues...

Tilt Bed control tied to lights above bed?

Thanks! I'll see what I can do to identify the other wires. Until then, here's a diagram of how the switch is currently wired with wire colors in case it's helpful.

Tilt Bed control tied to lights above bed?

Based on your instructions, I am getting a positive 12v reading across the light switch, indicating the switch is completing the negative connection. I unplugged the two blue/white wires from the top-left lead (#6) on the tilt switch and the light still works. There are three wires going in to...

Tilt Bed control tied to lights above bed?

Only two wires going in to the light switch ... one from the bed tilt switch and one going up the wall, assuming to the lights. Thinking this might be the 12v negative wire and when the switch is turned on it completes the circuit for all the switches on that run ... so the bed tilt and light...

Tilt Bed control tied to lights above bed?

Wasn't sure whether this belonged in the Electrical/12v DC or the Interior/Bed section. Hoping someone can help ... In my 2021 Cyclone 4007, the tilt bed control switch is tied to the light switch right above it that turns on/off the puck lights above the bed. In other words, we can't control...

Help a newbie out with a measurement?

Hello all! We are new full-timers, and new RV/Truck owners as well. Covid kicked our plans and we ended up with our 2021 Cyclone 4007 first about three months ago and have been relying on friends to move us from park-to-park. We finally got our tow vehicle (2021 GMC Sierra 3500HD DRW) last...

    Cyclone 4007 Black/Grey Tank Sizes?

My toy-hauler has three (3) grey tanks. Initial tests indicate: #1 - Main bath sink and shower. Assume washer goes here as well as washer hookups are in bedroom closet. #2 - Kitchen sink #3 - Garage 1/2 bath sink I thought I had each matched to its dump valve but now I probably need to verify...
