I have a 2013 3250TS Big Country. We are camping and all the power outlets in the bedroom area quit working. I have checked the breakers and they are fine. I have checked the fuse panel and found that the fuse slot #5 seems to be the issue. The fuse light is not on and does not come on when...

During our walk through for our 2013 BC 3250 the technician reviewed all the items and their operation in the UDC. He related that you can use the fresh water hose for the black tank flush in the UDC as well. He stated there is a feature that stops back flow. He said we can just disconnect...
Re: ATF: Landmark - EDM Roff wrinkles
Dave,
Thanks for the reply. I have wrinkles as well on my new Big Country and am concerned. I would be very interested in what the factory tells you. Thank again...
Greg...
Thanks everyone for the feedback. We took it out in about 20 mph wind and it seemed to do fine. Hit an occasional gust and was not to bad. Just need to get use to it and determine my comfort zone for the wind. Thanks again...
Hi all,
I am sure this questions has been asked before but I did a search and did not find much. I am new to fifthwheel towing. Wind here today was 35 mph with gusts to 50mph. We decided to sit it out for a day. forecast for tomorrow is 20 MPH and am not sure how the 5er will do? It there a...
Hi Floyd,
We just purchased our Big Country and have not signed up for the owner club yet (Plan on it in the next few weeks) and would like to attend. Do we contact Oasis directly? Thanks for the info.....
Thanks for the info. I took it into the dealer and they also related the Ford IBC is made to not lock up <20 mph. Seems like it is working but just not like my old truck with prodigy. Dealer related they were adusted when they PDI'd the unit. It is difficult to adjust them myself? Thanks...
Hi All,
I have read all the threads on the brakes and the Ford IBC and have not determined if it is a concern if you cannot lock up the brakes. We took our new BC 3250 out for a second time this weekend and agian I tried to lock the wheels with manual application of the brakes at about 10-20...
Alice,
I do not know about the Trail Air Pin Box. I have read several threads on the slider hitch and they state mostly the same thing about not needing it. My Brother has a short bed and has been pulling a fifth wheel for 6 years. He has used his slider a few times when the spaces are real...
Alice,
We ordered ours on March 10th. Week 1 we received the conformation sheet. Week 3 we were told build date of April 13th. Week 4 build date was delayed by one week to April 20th. Unit was built. Were told they were behind on shipping and would arrive sometime around the middle of May...
Alice,
We did the PDI on our 3250ts on Thursday and they put in my hitch. I have the factory prep for the hitch in my truck. I purchased a Reese 18K Elite Slider as it fits the Ford factory hitch setup. All though I have read that the slide is seldom used, I feel better having it if I need...
Hi all,
Well we picked up our new Big Country 3250ts on Friday and took it to a local campground to get use to it! See the Picture!
Of course the first stop was the CAT Scales. I had weighted my truck prior and have listed the weights below.
Truck without trailer
Front Axle: 4740 lbs...
Does anyone know if all 10" I Beam Heartland fifth wheels (BC & BH) are the same heights from the ground to the Pin when level or do they vary? I have seen a few post about keeping the trailer level when towing and know that the Tow vehicles vary in height and was wondering if the fifth wheels...
Hi all,
We are so excited and have to share the news! We got the call today that our 2013 Big Country 3250ts arrived at the dealer today. It was a longggggg....... 8 weeks. We get to go take a look tomorrow and do the PDI on Tuesday or Friday. I have posted a picture they emailed to us today!
I was wondering if anyone has seen wrinkles on the roof sides? Our BC came arrived today and I have noticed several wrinkles on the sides of the roof near the front cap and am concerned as to what would cause them. Any input would be helpful. Thank you...I am attempting to attach a picture....
I have had my BC on order for 7 weeks now. I was told it would take between 6-7 weeks from start to delivery. They said it was in transportation last week and I was just told by my dealer today that it will be another 3-4 weeks. They related the unit was completed but there is a shortage of...
We have a BC 3250 on order and will have to store it in a storage location. It will be covered but not indoors. Has anyone had any experience with storing your 5er and have any advise. I have read some posts that some have not problems with vandalism and some have had problems. I have seen...
Thanks for all the information. We got word yesterday they will begin the build on April 5th. We ordered on March 10th. They also realted they would need approx two weeks after the build to "fit/finish/transport". Hoping to get the new 5er on 4-20. Thanks again for all the info...
Hi all,
The wife and I placed an order through our local dealer for a 2013 Big Country 3250TS two weeks ago. Was wondering if anyone had some insight on how the process works. The dealer related it usually takes 1 week to get a build date and then they will be able to estimate the arrival date...
We just went through the same decision you are going through. We opted to order our Big Country last week. We thought that it was better to get Exactly what we wanted with this large of a purchase. We also get the 2013 model. The most important thing to us was getting what we wanted and not...
Alice,
We have a BC 3250 on order. We were also looking at the Auto Level for ours and the dealer/factory said they could install at the factory. We decided to go without. I do not know about the power cord reel...
Well after two years of looking for a fifthwheel we took the plunge today and ordered a 2013 BC 3250ts Gold Edition! We still have a day or two to change the options but here is what we add after the Big Country Package. I was hoping to get some feedback on the options/items that we have...
Markie5150,
How much clearance do you have from the top of the rails to the 5er? I have heard you need approx 6"? Do you use a slider hitch as well? I had heard the FX4 Off Road package adds 2" to the height and was a bit worried....
Howdy,
I have an 2011 F350 SRW 6.7 4x4 with FX4 Off Road package and 20" wheels. I am in the market for a 5er (BC 3250) and have heard/read some concerns about the bed rail height clearance when towing a 5er. Was hoping to get some real world info from RVers that have this setup. RV dealer...
