From what I saw, the magnet fell off and the un-shielded cabling was super frayed. I saw no bearing damage or issues and greased packed everything nicely before wrapping up. Attached to the magnet appeared to only be one super frayed wire..

Updated. Hit the local trailer supply and sourced a full 12" brake kit, installed and then replaced the break away cable since it had melted down during the test. All is well and I'm ready to tow next Tuesday! Sweet!

Pretty sure I just found the culprit. Started the truck up, plugged in the RV pig-tail, then started jacking up each axle/tire to see if they free-spin. Once I confirmed, I yanked the Emergency break/away brake cable and started turning the tires again. All 3 on the door side had the brakes...

I know this is an old thread, but my fuel gauge also stopped working. I bought a replacement gauge (exact same unit), but nothing changed. I suspect that the sending unit (in or on the tank) has gone bad or has a wiring issue. Where to start?

I can see the holes in the "board" where the screws/bolts used to be.. and that's where the bowing is. I have no idea what they were attached to - hence my idea of 3-4 aluminum straps from frame rail to frame rail to help hold this stuff up.

Just to be clear: Water is NOT the issue. The primary issue is that the center screws/bolts that were holding this up are no longer attached. The sides are still good, but at least 3-4 center bolts/screws no longer exist, causing it to bow in the center. Best method to fix?

Yes, last two trips home were in the rain, so I think this is the likely source of the very little bit of water. The bigger issue is the center studs/screws seem to have broken or are now non-existent.

We use our TH and garage to haul 3x ATV's. We do occasionally use the two drop-down beds when we have guests. We keep a roll-up carpet in the garage so we can quickly vacuum up the ATV dirt and make it somewhat presentable. We use the rear toilet all the time.

I didn't see another place to post this so.. 2 years ago, I had an accident, hitting another 5'er with my 5'er, putting some decent damage on the curb side of my 5'er - requiring all the decals be replaced, etc. Fast forward to today, all those decals are flaking off, bubbling and peeling off...

Thanks for all the feedback. We pretty much suspected the route wouldnt be advisable towing the 5'er. We'll start looking at alternate options for a fun and scenic road-trip.

I need to find aftermarket or OEM fenders for both sides of my RoadWarrior 395RW (2010). The plastic cracks due to vibration and the screws fall out. Are there fenders (plastic above the wheels) that are more robust and reinforced?
