Brian, the base goes behind the shower wall up a few inches & the wall is held in place with sticky stuff . My Sundance also has push clips / rivets along the bottom to hold the wall tight. George

I installed this fan in my Sundance http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/vortex-replacement-vent-fan-upgrade/49448& i like it, simple 15 min install & it did not cost much, works great.

Did you try turning off the antenna amplifier, it is the push button switch with green or red light next to it. It should be close to your living room TV I think. George

That hose is for winterizing or putting in RV antifreeze, make sure you close the other valve so your pump will not pull from your fresh water tank. If you do that then you should have more suction on the white hose. George

I have found in the past RV's that we owned as well with this Sundance that I have now the best thing to do is put in a loop hose & a accumulator tank. Come out of the discharge side of the pump make a loop with about 3’ of hose then go to an accumulator. This should take care of the pump...
