Possibly Purchasing a 2016 Charleston

Hello everybody. My wife and I are currently negotiating a deal on a 2016 Charleston. We just sold our home and part of our land, we retained some acreage and intend to build. In the mean time, we have decided to upgrade from our36' tt to something a little more livable long term. We originally thought we wanted a Newport, but after walking the two floor plans, we felt the Charleston was a better fit for our lifestyle.

I have combed through the web looking for as much info s I can, but have yet to find a single review or owner for that matter. So we are looing for some feedback. Preferably from an owner, but all are welcome.

I do have a couple of specific questions that I assume would cover any of the 365 series. The unit we are looking at has the full timer package which in the brochure and online state that it includes a tpms system as well as a accessory receiver on the back. I was reviewing the build sheet today and noticed that it said "full-timer package", but in looking at the details these items weren't listed. Wen I asked the dealer about these he informed me that these were additional options. Actually what he said was that Heartland had discontinued the accessory receiver and the tpms system was an option. Can anyone verify this? I just wan to make sure I am getting what I am supposed to. Currently the only item I appear to be getting out of this package is the surge protector.

Any insight or thoughts are truly appreciated.

Hi Shawn,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and hopefully to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

I suggest you call Heartland Customer Service, 574-262-8030 or 877-262-8032, ask for the Landmark 365 sales and ask them yourself. Sometimes salespeople are not well informed.

Be sure and check out our Heartland Owners Club. Join us at a rally when you can and meet lots of the great folks here and make friends for a lifetime.

Enjoy the forum and your new unit when you get it.

Its true that the receiver hitch option is no longer offered. The options listed here by BigJim45 looks accurate. Don't ski mp on your new home. Get what you want/need. Congrats in advance as well :)
