I saw the new 3612 floor plan on line at Holman Rv's website. It's a nice floor plan. What is the coach's length, UVW weight and hitch weight? I really like the 3010 size but I need a 12 foot garage for all the toys. This might fit the bill.
Thanks
Just bought a 2010 Cyclone 3850 and pull it with a 2009 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab. There was some doubt in the industry as to whether a slider hitch was necessary with the short bed. The answer is emphatically "No". My Mega Cab has a 6'3" bed and with the Cylone attached to a Reese 24K Signature...
Last Monday, Aug. 24th, I immediately thought of you Larry. So here is what happened as reported to my insurance agent.
At approximately 4:30 pm I arrived at the Vandenberg AFB FamCamp RV Park. As I was driving down the street, an SUV was approaching. I drove near the right edge...
The dealer called yesterday to let us know our new 3010 was in. The only extras we ordered were toylock, edged carpet for the garage (kids room) and a fantastic fan in the bedroom. The trailer is in Ohio and we are in California. I'll pick it up first week of October. The wife and kids will meet...
I'm going to break these upgrades into two categories. First set we did for our convience, the other in my opinion should have already been incorporated into the design.
We added a coffee pot under the cabinet above the sink. In order to accomplish this had to place an outlet in the side of...
Hello,
I have a 3850 without the patio door to the garage and want to put a tv on the wall in between the bathroom door and the entry door to the main living area. I know this was an option, but I don't know what is behind the wall in that area (inside the entertainment shelf where the TV...
We just recently picked up out first Heartland Cyclone 3010. Other than a few small teething pains the unit is just what our small family hoped for. This forum has been a huge help in answering many of our questions. We do have one concern that we addressed with our dealer and were unable to get...
Good day, new on here and just about to buy a 2010 3950. Before we make the final leap, I was wondering if any of you could share your experiences and thoughts, advice etc. on this model and things to be aware of in general. I have reviewed the forum and have learned quick but nothing really...
My wife and I are buying a Toy Hauler. We have been looking at the Raptor and the Cyclone. Can someone tell me what the differences are between say a 2010 3010 and the 2009 3210 as far as construction and options and build quality. I know the 2010 have some very nice upgrades. But were most...
I have the above TV in my new 2010 Cyclone 3010.
There appears to be a "ghost image" when the TV is on but with no source. Almost like the Jensen logo that first comes up is burned in. Is this possible?
I have two TVs from the factory, one in the bedroom and the main in the LR. The bedroom...
My family (parents with 2 young kids age 8, 7) and I are considering 3914 or 3812 Cyclone, and would really like to convert the queen to king bed. Would it be possible, providing there's a indentation around the corner for the tight 80' turning.
Also, I'm would like to put a washer/dryer in...
Our two came over yesterday because their uncle told their daddy that he had to go see the new toy (Cyclone 3010) we got.:D
After checking it all out and asking lots of questions, his dad said something like "Aren't you still going to tent camp with me?" :(
Nick's answer was
"Dad, that is so...
Mods --Please leave this post in the general section, trying to get an answer before I leave Elkhart

OK, so I posted in the prospective owners section earlier about questions for Cyclone owners. Are there any Cyclone owners in the Hampton Roads that would be willing to show it off to me and my husband:rolleyes:? I just dread the 4 hour drive to Danville just to look at them. Mainly because I...

We finally got the new RV on the road. We purchased a Cyclone 3950 from Lake Shore RV and they delivered it last month. I am still very pleased with the service from Lake Shore. We did have a hitch issue and they corrected it immediately. I had read several negative posts and I was a little...
I measured our trailer yesterday hooked to the truck.
Full fresh water, maybe 1/4 in the holding tanks.
12' 11" to the top of the main AC.
The bedroom AC (low profile) is about 1" lower
Since this is a new model, and for 2010 they apparently don't give an "exit the plant" weight spec.
Our trailer is at MorRyde for upgrades.
These weights are with full water (should be 100 gallons) and some water in the holding tanks.
Full propane tanks
About 1/2 fuel
Generator
Washer...
Is it normal for the speakers to buzz/vibrate/rattle when the volume is up enough to overcome the AC noise?
This a new, just delivered 07/25/09 Cyclone
Is this correct? I need to keep two keys, one for each side door???
My key ring included 4 different keys
2 - side door keys
1 - baggage door key
1 - key of unknown origin - no one knows what it is for.
We are in Custers Gulch RV Park, Custer SD. When I arrived there were 2 Bighorns and a Cyclone. One of the Bighorns was our Heartland friends Jim & Jean Bowling. Looks like we have a mini rally.

Im at work but just talked to the wife, she went visit her sister today at Indian Creek Recreation in woodworth louisiana today and she told me she saw a Cyclone, anyone on here?
Hi every-one, I'm new to the forum as of tonight and my wife and 7 yr old have been camping for the past 5 yrs and have owned 2 Keystone travel trailer with our current one a 2008 Sprinter 311BHS.
We are just starting to look at toy-hauler's and the new Cyclone has really caught our eye with the...
My wife and I are thinking about upgrading. We are making a list of things we want. For example kingsize bed, opposing sides, if not a toy hauler so we have a room that we can go into for away time, at least an area that can be closed off. Would any heartland product meet these criteria?
I was wondering if anyone has a surefire way of removing the decal from the front cap of my 2009 3950 Cyclone. It's the one that advertises their patent pending 88 degree turning radius. I want to get it off without taking the finish off with it. Did all the 5th wheels from 2009 get blessed with...
Hi All.
Our family just bought a 2009 Cyclone 3950 and so far we love it to death.
Kids got room to maneuver so does our family dog.
Looking forward to may months and years of use.
Back in April of this year we looked at a new 3010. It had 2 gray dump handles so I assumed 2 gray tanks. The question is, are these 2 tanks connected? In other words, if one fills up will it spill into the other?
Thank you!
Well I am new here but not new to RVing. I have been travelling and RVing since I was a kid and picked up again after I got married. We have owned two RVs now, the first was a Pilgrim TT and the current one is a Legends 5er. We had been full-timing in it up until recently when we bought a few...
Trying to decide if we should order the washer/dryer from the factory. It would be nice to have the venting done there but the question is, how much water does the unit use for a load? I imagine it can't be too bad as these units were designed for R.V.'s, but not sure if they had full hookup in...
I am currenty trying to find the perfect toy hauler to suit my needs. Right now i am looking at the 305RW vs the 3010 cyclone. Could you please tell me what the differences are between the two BASE models. I may not need all the bells and whistles of the Cyclone, so it may help me save some...
The 3010 offers only one electric awning as an option.
I would really like a second awning (electric) over the rear portion (garage side door).
Looking at the pictures I took during my recent visit to Elkhart there certainly seems to be enough room for an awning.
Plus with no loft on the...
Hello
New to your forum and also new to the RV thing.
My wife and I have been looking at toy haulers and we think we have decided on a new 2009 3912.
Can anyone tell me if it is good bad or indifferent?
Also what should I expect to pay for one?
By the way I will get to fill out my bio but I am...
Hey everyone, I just joined the forum in hopes to help get a decision on a toy hauler purchase. My wife and I are looking at a Cyclone 3850/3950. She absolutely loves the interior and of course i like the size and the garage in the back for the atv's.
Currently we live in PA and we are...
Just ordered our trailer (3010) last week and then found on the Heartland site that shocks are available on the higher end 5th wheel trailers.
I had shocks on my recently sold Sunnybrook and I was amazed at how smooth the trailer towed and things stayed in place. Never had a door open and the...
looking on ebay and saw this new one of kind cyclone 4015proto. go to youtube and see the video. two complete full baths with showers. hope heartland is going to build more of these.
Has anyone installed an AC in the garage? We use ours a lot as a bedroom for the kids and in the summer, its just plain hot! In the winter, its cold. I was thinking of adding an AC with heat strips to help in this area.
