orginised. We are going through five parks, Page, North Rim, Vegas.

Rally agenda

Hello everyone,

There are some things you need to know about our upcoming Fall Rally, especially for those who have never been to a Rally. It looks like we're going to have a great turn-out and we're looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting new HL owners and spending this wonderful weekend with you. I thought this would be helpful so that everyone knows what we're planning. So, please read this carefully. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

PLEASE...If any of you can help out at our rally with setting up tables out on lawn area, selling raffle tickets, BBQing at the Dinner Potluck, decorating the tables @ Clubhouse for Sunday nite, clean-up, etc. I would appreciate the help very much! With almost 50 people attending, Art & I can't do it by ourselves. Group participation is what makes this rally successful and memorable.

RAFFLES - We are having 2 raffles. One for each night of our Potlucks. PLEASE help support us as the money we make helps to fund rally expenses.
Saturday night following the Appetizer Potluck, we will be having a 50/25/25 Raffle drawing. Tickets can be purchased during the pot-luck @ 1/$1.00, 6/$5.00, 13/$10.00. All tickets sales will be divided, 2 winners will each win 25% and 50% goes to help rally costs.
On Sunday night following our Potluck Dinner we will have a GIFT RAFFLE drawing. I'm asking each rig to donate a gift worth at least $15. for this Raffle. We will be selling tickets and raffling off the prizes and there is no limit on how many prizes you can win. Please bring your donated 'unwrapped' gift to my rig any time during the rally so we can gather them up and place them on the gift table prior to our Dinner. Tickets can be purchased during the pot-luck @ 1/$1.00, 6/$5.00, 13/$10.00.

Name tags - Every member and their guest attending the rally will be given a name tag and it is important that you wear it at all times during the rally. This is for the purpose of identifying rally attendees and also helps us to get acquainted with those we don't yet know. If you are caught without wearing your name tag, you will be fined $1.00 each time. Funds collected goes for rally expenses.


"GIFT STEALING GAME" ON FRIDAY NIGHT
This is a FUN game and everyone is a WINNER! For those that would like to participate in this game, EACH person must bring a gift worth at least $10.00 (NEW, nothing used). PLEASE place it in a brown paper grocery bag and bring it with you to the 'Meet & Greet & Get Aquainted" gathering. The more people we have that participate, the more fun we have playing the game. (we played this game at last years' rally and it was lots of fun).

SATURDAY APPETIZER POT-LUCK - This will be a hearty appetizer meal. EACH rig should bring a substantial appetizer dish to share with everyone (examples - finger sandwiches, quiches, fruit and veggie platters, bean dip/chips, cracker n cheese trays, deviled eggs, crockpot chili beans or meatballs, etc.) Bottled water will be provided. Following the appetizer, we'll be having the 50/25/25 raffle drawing.


SUNDAY DINNER POT-LUCK - Each rig should bring a MAIN DISH, SALAD (FRUIT ,VEGGIE OR PASTA) OR DESSERT to share with everyone. Bottled water will be provided. Following Dinner, we'll be having the Gift Raffle.

We have 14 rigs pulling into the RV park on Thursday. I have nothing planned for this day. There are alot of things do in the surrounding areas of the Gold Country. Or you can just relax or explore this beautiful RV park or take the free shuttle to the casino.


FRIDAY, OCT 9th
3:00pm - check-in.

3 - 4:00pm - After setting up your rig, stop by to pick up your Welcome packet and name badges. We will be in site #32, look for the HEARTLAND banner.


4:00pm - "Meet & Greet & Get Aqainted" gathering at lawn area near our site. Please come join us this evening where you can meet new members or get reaquainted with the ones you haven't seen in awhile. We'll put out some munchies. You may bring a snack/munchies to share with everyone (chips, nuts, cookies, baked goodies or anything yummy & edible)


5:30pm - We're playing the "GIFT STEALING GAME"!

3:00 pm - Social Hour BYOB Bring your lawn chairs and meet out on lawn


4:00 pm - Appetizer Pot-Luck at the "GRASS CIRCLE" area
Following appetizer is the 50/25/25 drawing
