Why even do the school. You can use your pickup and Rv to go take the driving test (assuming it meets the gross combination of 26klb or greater).

Once you pass the writing test you move onto the driving. Class A is easy and cheap to get. $1800 is crazy.

It's pretty relaxed in Texas also but I think it's stupid. Weight is weight and my opinion is everybody should follow the same laws.

It's the people towing RV's that scare me the most on the road. Average Joes that think they are professional Truck drivers towing some heavy loads with no experience.
