Purchased a new 2014 Prowler 29PBHS this year. The literature says the gas/electric DSI water heater is a standard feature- listed under the Prowler value package (required). I could not find the switch to turn on the electric function (yes- the gas switch is in the bathroom on the main control panel). I looked up the part number shown on the heater- Atwood G6A-8E. It says LP only. Is this an error made during the manufacturing of this RV?

We recently had a post saying that Heartland was shipping some gas-only water heaters for a short time but current production is all gas/electric. So it's possible yours might be gas-only and newer builds might be gas/electric.
Let me suggest you call Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032 / 574-262-8030. Have your VIN # ready. They should be able to tell you which water heater was specified for your unit when it was built.
