2015 Chevy using b&w companion question

On the way to pick up new TV, 2015 3500 DW I'm taking the companion out of the ford and was wondering were people have the ears on the companion set. Mine are on the second from the top on the F450 but he side rails on the Chevy are higher.

Thanks

Thread might be a bit old, but figured I'd reply anyway. Because the Chevy side rails are so tall I went for maximum clearance. My driveway also creates lots of complex angles on the hitch so I have the angle optimized to allow the RV to be uphill from the TV by quite a bit. I changed install positions 3 times in 2 years as I was working out what worked best for my situation.

I have a 2013 Denali DRW. Going to pick up our new Bighorn 3750FL on Tuesday. With your Companion set to the highest position does the trailer still ride level or is it nose high?
