2016 big horn 5th wheel 3160 - weatherstripping coming off

The weatherstripping is coming off on the bedroom slider. See the attached video.

We have the rig on my son’s driveway in Tacoma WA.

So there will be a lot of rain soon.

I don’t have a towing rig to take it to a shop.

Was wondering if I could replace it, or do something temporary.

Or I can try to find a mobile rv repair guy.


Any advice would be appreciated.

You might try taping some tarp material to the sidewall and over the side of the slide.
Or bring the slide in.

I'd do what he said but if you can't, cover the rig so rain cannot get onto slide

FYI the rubber slide seals arent all that hard to replace. Those slide in a track, and they are held in place by screws in either end. Check with steelrubber.com for the parts.

Bought it on Amazon. I've replaced all 4 pieces it's the same on the inside. I just cut off the old, wiped down the metal with brake clean and alcohol then it's a simple press on. This material is much better.
