2500 vs 3500 SRW

John, I was refering to difference between a 3500HD D/A SRW and a DRW. The price depends on the goodies added to the base truck. Yes John, a D/A combo is 8K more than a gasser, but the pulling power is way more than a gas engine and you don't get the exhaust brake. The D/A adds a lot more GVWR to the truck.

BTW, whats wrong with your W/Shield and the radio?

3500 is about $1000.00 more than 2500.

DRW is about $1200.00 more than DRW.

Sorry. Not $6000.00 for the combo of 3500 DRW over 2500 SRW.

John, W/Shields are getting thinner to reduce weight. I'm not sure blaming GM for a hail storm makes your truck a bad one. My SIL had a radio issues in her 2015 Terraine. A new radio fixed the issue.

The hail storm isn't what took out my windshield . . . a snow storm and a rock during a deep freeze did that.

If you're starting out with the price for a gas 2500 not diesel then the difference is probably abt $6k.

Realistically, 3/4 ton diesels limit out to about 11,000 pounds max for fifth wheel trailers. Look at these charts: How Much Can A Three-quarter Ton Truck Tow Without Exceeding Ratings?
