3650 Awning

Hello All, I may have raised this concern before, but could find my original post. I am very concerned that the awning resting on top of the kitchen slide might wear a whole in it. Does anyone with a 3650 share this concern? If so, does anyone have any ideas of what we could glue to the underside of the awning that could add some additional protection? I was thinking of something like an inner-tube repair patch with some rubber cement.

you could get a pool noodle and cut a slit in it and put it on the top edge of the slide, like people do to cover the edge of the bottom of the slide to keep children from walking into the corners.
