Adding higher rated axles does not increase the weight caring capacity. The frame rating will not change and cannot be changed by changing the axles. You might want to look into FlexArmor RV roof.

I have yet to calculate the numbers, but based on the thickness I would choose for aluminum, I wouldn't have any concerns with any overall weight increase if it adds much at all. I am also looking at doing some sort of leader, or wind drag sheeting starting at the very front corner trim, and only covering up to 4' back. This seems to be where the most potential roof abuse occurs when towing. I have also experienced lifting Dicor sealant applied by the factory around the original front roof vent, TV antenna, and a few inches of the front aluminum angle. The roof vent was replaced as noted earlier, and the other 2 spots were cleaned and repaired with new Dicor.

Added what I'm calling storage/not in use dump valve vented caps.
The pictures will do all the explaining, nothing fancy here. The screen is aluminum. The travel trailer doesn't see much use, and long stints between uses. All tanks are always flushed out, but due to the floor of the tank, (as witnessed by removing the rear of the underbelly material to see), they have a low pitched bottom which does not always allow the water to favor the drain. These vented caps will help the tanks to continually vent and air out between the vent stack on the roof, and these caps., while preventing mice etc from entering.

January of this year I added corner pieces to the shower to help prevent water from splashing out. I can actually use this tiny shower, and this helps.

Added a strap for RV shower curtains to the table leg that stays folded when in use at the dinette. It was falling down when under way.

Today matching 3' puck lights purchased from Heartland were added to the storage area under the sofa, bed storage space, and rear storage area accessed VIA the rear baggage door.

Used the camper for 8 days over Thanksgiving, added a few simple things I realized I needed.
Nearly all the cooking is done outside, but food prep is usually done inside. So a few spice holders were added.
Neat silicone toilette brush and holder that breaks down to clean.
Legal size file holder made of metal for all the paperwork to stow.

I seem to enjoy doing practical and creative mods instead of using the camper..!!
Working on recessed LED lights above the countertop today. My target was LED spot, but had a hard time finding LED spot lights that did not require a 120V to 12V driver, I wanted direct wire 12V fixtures. What I ended up using is ok, not as focused as I wanted, but it's an improvement over having nothing.
Measure 100 times, drill once, the fixtures were a 4 pack, so placement had to be intentional, and still look somewhat symmetric. Bringing power to that area will be another day and obstacle, I might use power from the roof vent, but since all wiring needs to be hidden as if factory done, I will have my work cut out for me, these lights will have a matching factory wall switch.

Finished supply power wiring, and on/off switch. I only took the final pics at the end, but I removed the right vertical window trim board, and was able to run a small wire pair behind that, and up to the top. I was lucky and found 12v wires in the wall just behind the location I chose for the new wall switch, so I tapped in there.

Removed the blank panel filler used to cover the top drawer slot, a drawer could've fit from the factory, but they chose not to add one, and instead cover it from the rear with matching wood paneling. I have been eyeing it for a tilt out storage tray/bin. Purchased the drawer front, and matching handle from Heartland, and the tilt out hinges from Amazon. I'm left with finding or making a tray that gives me the max amount of storage space.

Really cool mod! Looks like Amazon has some tip-out trays in 11" and 14". Could also has a piece out of the center, install it and silicone the joint.

I attended the Florida RV Super Show in Tampa over a week ago, I called ahead to the manufacture TST, and ask that they bring an 8 sensor kit to the show for me. I purchased the kit, and have added the internal sensors to the 3 camper rims, the remaining sensors will be for teh tow vehicle.
