all 3 power awnings won't work

I'm assuming there must be a simple 'fix' to this since the awnings worked just fine yesterday, and then today there is absolutely nothing from any of all three of the awnings on a 2015 Cyclone 4200 toy hauler fifth wheel.

checked the fuse box but nothing is flipped and everything else power works ok

Hi amyk71,

Congratulations on the new Cyclone and welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

Sounds like maybe you were checking the 110V AC circuit breakers to see if one was tripped. The awnings probably run off 12V DC, with power going through a removable fuse. The fuses are usually in a separate panel near the circuit breakers.

There will be a row of fuses, usually in a vertical arrangement. Along the left side of each fuse is an LED light that illuminates when the fuse is blown. But it'll only light up when there's demand on the circuit. In this case, you'd have to have someone pressing one of the awning switches. If an LED lights up while pressing the switch, that fuse is blown.

if the awnings were all on one 12V fuse and nothing else on that circuit, I don't think the LED would light up indicating that the fuse is blown until the circuit is activated by trying to run the awning.

Make sure that both power disconnects are green or on.. One in the gen compartment above the batteries and one in the pass through storage area on the passenger side. Is everything else working on the unit?

that was the solution---pull that panel and then look for the red led light when we pressed the awning switch----pulled it and popped in a new one and VOILA fixed!!!
fyi, the rear porch light was also on that power grid for all three awnings lol--- that works now too! thanks so much for the quick responses and correct advice!!
