Well, no attendee of the big Heartland rallies can go home saying they went home hungry. Tonight, we did not disappoint.
One hundred eighteen (118) of us shared a wonderful meal at the farm of Henry and Carolyn Yoder, east of Middlebury, Indiana. It was quite a site to see a caravan of maybe 40 trucks in a few waves, traveling the country roads from the Fairgrounds to Yoder's.
Like last year, the food was wonderful. Could have had cooler weathers but when the family started passing plates, bowls and pie tins with all the home cooking goodness, you pretty much forgot about the heat.
