It has been an interesting year getting our Cyclone in September rather than June as promised. We had intended on spending last summer in Alaska and winter in Lower 48. We ended up spending the summer flying back and forth from Alaska to get the trainer that was never ready. By September it was too late to head north. We now are ready to head home for the Spring, Summer and Fall. I have driven the ALCAN many times and twice in Winter but never with an RV in Winter. We have 3 weeks to make the trip from Kansas starting the second week of March. My biggest concern is finding open campsites. Who has made this adventure during the "off season" and are there open campsites or RV parks. The only one I know of is Laird Hot Springs Provincial Park (Mandatory Stop for any ALCAN Trip).
