ATF: Bighorn - Fireplace Heater

We have a 2011 Heartland Bighorn 3610RE. Lately the hearter/blower unit in the fireplace turns off after using it for an hour or so. Any idea why this is happening?

Sounds like it may be shutting off on a over heat sensor.

Have you checked the thermostat? It should be the knob on the left side, turn clockwise to increase heat. In my manual (dimplex)it says to call tech support @ 1-888-346-7539 with model and serial # if you have to keep resetting it by turning on and off. good luck

Or maybe it is just satisfing the thermostat in the fire place. Try turning it up one knob adjusts the lighting the other is the thermostat.
