My sink fell down in my sticks-and-bricks home a couple weeks ago. 2.5 hours of labor and a couple hundred dollars on NYE day, fixed by a local counter-top guy. In my case, the installer glued brackets to the underside of my quartz counter. If was the adhesive used on the brackets that gave way. Stuff happens - even when a house doesn't move down a road.
