Attachment of sun shade on kitchen slide out

Hello. My first time posting. I would like to install a sun shield on my kitchen slide to cool the refer area and cabinets. I’ve got the type of slide with the 4 3/4” trim on top of slide. Should I attach it to the top of the 4 3/4” trim, or in the fiberglass wall? Any info on this will be appreciated. Thanks
