Battery

Does anyone know if there is a reset button, somewhere on a 2009 3670RL, in regards to the battery system? Is there one in the coach, at the breaker panel, or on the smaller panel where the fuses are???, or perhaps near the battery? Seems as though the battery is not working unless I'm connected to house, truck, generator, or campground shore line.

Hi, does that mean it should be at the battery wher the hydraulics are? Is that the battery that supplies DC power, and does the one up front only supply power for the leveling feet????

Hi Dylan,

The standard configuration from the factory is one battery, which isn't located in the same place on every trailer. It's possible you have more than one battery, but they're usually wired together (parallel if 12V, series if 6V). Take a look around the battery compartment(s) for the 12V circuit breakers, and when you find them, feel the edge of each one to find the reset button. The wires attached to the circuit breakers vary in size. Look for a larger diameter wire.

I have a Bighorn 3670 RL, and the 12 volt battery bus bar is to the left rear (and below) of the outside hydraulic slides pump/valves/switch. The circuit breakers are as illustrated on the pre-mentioned link. FYI, the one you are concerned with actually limits current going INTO the battery from the power converter/battery charger when you are connected to shore AC power. The rest of the breakers on that bus bar limit current going OUT to devices, like landing gear, etc.
BTW, the converter/battery charger is connected to the 12 volt DC fuse box BEFORE it connects to the bus bar circuit breaker, and thus you can run 12 volt DC devices (lights, etc.) when plugged into AC shore power while the charging circuit breaker is blown, or even if the battery is disconnected.
