Bedroom slide cables loose

this link https://manuals.heartlandowners.org/manuals/Slide_Outs/Rooms/BAL/accuslide_service-manual.pdf is from the tools tab above. user guides, explains all about the cable slide out systems; 1" slack is normal in the cables if I remember correctly. Read thought it for cable adjustments.

There are turn buckles inside to tighten them. If the turn buckle does not have enough adjustment, a new cable set needs to be installed and adjusted. The turn buckles are ether at the top or bottom of the side. On my Big Horn they were at the bottom. So yes you do need to do some dismantling to see them.

Well took some work but got it done. It amazes me after taking some pieces apart how quickly and sloppily these are built. Also we did call heartland and the provided another set of rollers for the bedroom. I’m not sure if ours were missing or if it’s a new design, but there were initially no rollers on the front of the bed just side when we saw it was lifting a lot and reached out to heartland. They quickly sent us rollers for the front of the bed as well, just in case anyone else has those concerns.
