Mine was a problem with the motor start capacitor.
Could be a blocked evaporator which only needs to be cleaned out. If the compressor works (makes cold air) I'd have a mobile tech (one who's been at it a while) check it out. Could save time and money. If not it's the price of a service call. Price of livin and lovin like they say.
I'd also check the duct work, make sure it's sealed. Ours had gapping holes letting air into the attic area. Also installed the RV Airflow, that made a huge difference in the cooling & noise level
