have a 2014 Heartland Bighorn Silverado 5th wheel that I bought used.
The front black tank fell
out and the straps kept it from hitting the pavement. It was parked for several months in our RV park site. Not sure what caused it but maybe it was what I found: the black tank outlet was connected to the valve by a length of ABS pipe. The pipe was fitted over the tank outlet and two hose clamps were over it. I’m thinking How can those clamps compress a hard pipe like that enough to hold it tight?? The other end was glued into the valve.
I’ve attached a picture of the tank outlet and the split valve.
What should actually be used to connect the two using a new valve?
Thanks
John
