Build Quality

I still think that the recent rash of build quality is caused by the rise in RV sales across the industry. The line employees are under pressure to build them quickly and out the door. The manufacturer still has to pay a dealer to repair build problems. It is important to buy from a dealer who does a good PDI before delivery. I bought my Bighorn from a dealer who spent a day checking all systems and plumbing. I found a few minor problems they fixed within a hour. JMO

How much is that sliding panel in the basement worth? The water manifold? A slightly nicer finish on the cabinets?

That is something that can bee seen and decided on by the shopper.......

What is unconscionable is the stuff you can't see...... improper sealing, undersized and overtorqued fasteners, shoddy workmanship. If you build a product that is disposable you should put that in the brochure. "Not designed for use exceeding 10 years". Slowing down just a hair and not slapping it together half ***** may add a few dollars to the price, but not thousands.
