We are looking for campground in or near Sedona Arizona in March 2016. We have 45 foot fifth wheel toy hauler. Plan to bring motorcycles to tour the attractions. Any suggestions? thanks!

Hopefully Tony sees this and responds - he has a park he loves near Sedona. this week is our AZ fall rally and we are staying in Camp Verde. Very close to the Prescott turnoff, the Sedona turnoff, payson and Montezumas castle and well. Might want to check it out. Pretty nice.

We've stayed at Deadhorse Ranch State Park. They have full hook up loops and can accommodate your rig.. We've also stayed on the other side of the mountain from Sedona in Prescott Valley on route 89a at the Fairgrounds RV Park. It's a Beautiful ride from there to Jerome then down to Sedona. You absolutely cannot get your rig thru Jerome on 89a, but Jerome is a must do.

Last June we stayed at Distant Drums RV Resort, located at 583 W Middle Verde Rd, Camp Verde, AZ. It's about 25 miles south of Sedona. This one of the nicest RV parks we've stayed at. As Mrsfish stated, it's strategically located to many points of interest in the Sedona/Verde Valley area.

Thank you to great campgrounds. Will let you what happens. Great to know about no rig passage at Jerome.

Yeah, don't try Mingus Mountain and Jerome pulling a big rig. Keep in mind that March can be cold and snowy in that part of the state and we are forecast to get a rather strong El Nino. Prescott is 5500 ft and Sedona is 4K and does get snow. Verde is warmer and can get some dustings but snow does not usually stay.
