Choctaw RV Park KOA, Durant, Oklahoma

We drove up for a quick weekend stay from the DFW area. The park was nice, but not many trees. It has a nice laundry/shower facility, a great-looking meeting hall, a nice lounge area, video game area, shuffleboard and pool table. A nice outdoor pool and playground, too. There is a free shuttle to the Casino, as well, just call as request it to pick you up, or wait for the regularly scheduled runs, about 6 times a day. (door to door service!) The nightly rate is pricey, but convenient if you like to visit the Casino or the Choctaw Events Center for a show.

As we were heading out, a large group of Excel 5ver owners were arriving for a rally.

No Jim, it's actually closer to Caldera, OK, Just over the Oklahoma/Texas border, up I-75 north of Denison, TX.
