Bones,
Check the piping for the CVV valve for a possible leak. My 14 3500 has the same odor when I come to a stop with the heat on, but I installed a CVV delete kit from glacier diesel performance. So I have only a small filter coming of the valve cover that's why I get the smell. The factory set up runs it back into the intake right before the turbo.
